  2. Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Rewritten Launcher

    This is a C++ rewrite of the Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 game launcher for Windows. The original launcher was written in Java but the game itself uses no Java. This was made to avoid a pointless Java runtime dependency and to make it easier to run Sonic 4 on Linux using Proton. This version should also work better when you rebind keys with a non-US keyboard layout.

  5. Pac-Man World 2 widescreen EXE

    This is a hack by Jackfuste which allows for widescreen resolutions to display properly instead of being stretched, additionally UI elements are unstretched and sit in the corners, and other 2D elements are centered, however loading screen graphics are stretched.  This fix was downloaded from this forum:

    All credit goes to Jackfuste, I am merely uploading a mirror.  This was tested on a cracked retail version of the game, it is unknown if it will also work on a Windows XP system using StarForce protection.

    X-Wing series 60FPS (1.0.2) patch by Justagai
    This will change the FPS limit from 30 to 60 in any of the X-Wing games in the series: X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, Balance of power and X-Wing Alliance
    Compatible with the Disc, GoG and Steam versions.

    Instructions: Extract/Move dinput.dll and Hook_60FPS.dll into the game folder.
    Multiplayer: Make sure that everyone has the same patch installed to prevent syncing issues.
    Notes: 
    - If there is a frame loss when targeting something and you have a custom DDRAW installed, try turning off antialiasing in its config.
    Issues:
    - It is possible that 60FPS can make some missions impossible due to a movement bug in the engine. Please report the mission with the bugged craft.

  8. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 'Upside down', 'black and white' menu fix

    On Windows 8 or newer systems, the game's menu turns upside down or just black and white; because, the codecs of the the original video files don't working very well on these newer system. You can see the problem on the 'before.jpg' image, and the fixed menu 'after.jpg' the applied fix.
    To fix this unpleasant thing, just download and extract the content of the archive into the game's folder. The password for the archive is pcgw.
    If you are experience issues with the extracting, then download the two parts of the archive to the same folder and combine them with the following command (obviously in Windows Command Line or PowerShell):
    copy /b SniperGhostWarrior_videofix.7z.001 + SniperGhostWarrior_videofix.7z.002 SniperGhostWarrior_videofix.7z

    Move the file to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Electronic Arts\Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix\HPOOTP\
    Tested with the release version. Shows 100% completion and the entire Hogwarts is open. The highest graphical preset, "quality", has been selected. Note that you may want to change the default input method (the game doesn't seem to support simultaneous controller and mouse & keyboard input), it's recommend to do so before installing the resolution fix.

    In case you got a DS3 Buttons Mod installed, download Remove Letterbox Art Compatiblity Patch.zip. It also contains files that you can import into modified sprite.par archives using PARC Archive Importer, so you can use this mod with any other that modifies same archive.

  20. Hot Wheels Velocity X - MagicVX

    MagicVX is a tool for Hot Wheels Velocity X that allows for many changes, such as: Adjustable FOV, easily enable/disable cheats, use debug options and custom game launching.
    Current version is 1.0, but 0.5.0 has many more options such as allowing you to enable autosave, enable the mouse whilst in-game, adjusting health, boost and car position, more specific cheats, being able to hide the UI, lock the camera and much more! The only caveat is that it can be more buggy and more crash-prone than 1.0.

    This fix will allow the game Starlancer to work with any directsound 3d wrapper like Creative alchemy, DSOAL etc.. will allow to restore surround sound and EAX on modern Windows OS.
    By default the original mss32.dll file of the game ignore all dsound.dll file put in the game folder resulting in non working wrapper.
    The dll file in this pack has been edited to use in priority the dsound.dll of the game folder before switching to the system one if not found.
    Thanks to verokster for his explanation on how to make such fix possible.

You will need to copy the files from the game's DVD to your hard drive and run this installer with those files in the same folder. This file has been tested to work and has been scanned with VirusTotal as well as Windows Defender which means it contains no types of malware whatsoever.
