  3. SEGA RALLY 2 Repair Pack

In order to experience Sega Rally 2 conveniently on Windows 10 and later systems (although you can also use an emulator), I integrated this patch package to solve various problems that may occur on modern systems at one time (such as missing music, no support for xinput controllers, and too low resolution)
The default state after decompression can run well at present. If necessary, you can refer to the "readme.txt" file and check the "_bak" folder.
If there is a problem, please reply to me below, and I will try my best to help you solve it if I can solve it.
Added 5% recovery record using winrar, if the compressed package is damaged, you can try to repair it

Only Windows needs it, Linux & SteamDeck only need to use the [HOST_LC_ALL="ja_JP.UTF-8" %command%] startup item.

  6. Batman Arkham Knight - Batgirl DLC end movie FIX

"Batman Arkham Knight" - Batgirl DLC end movie fix:
When you end the DLC of Batgirl, the ending video always crashes the game, with this "fix" you don't need to skip the video before it ends, because instead of reporting a crash, at the end of the video it will freeze (but you have the opportunity to see the complete video without the fear of having a program crash) allowing to skip it when the video freezes. With this you return to the game instead to the desktop with an error message!
    -- Usage --
Copy the contents of the compressed file to the DLC folder of the game, overwrite the "bugged" video with this "fix" and you can see the end of the DLC without having a crash (the video as i say, freezes a bit before it ends but nothing important is lost and you avoid a program crash).

  7. FlatOut Super Digital Deluxe Upgrade

Upgrades FlatOut 1 & 2 to the Super Digital Deluxe editions, which allows the retail owners, or ones of any other platform, to have the improvements from the in their games, similarly to the other patches on here which add improvements from GOG to Steam or vice versa.
For FO1 you need to add the proper files to the load order in patch.ini on steam and use either latin.bat or cyrilic.bat on GOG (just remember that this just adds the things from the Deluxe version, you'll still need to use a patch for the steam to upgrade to 1.1 and one for GOG to fix the texture issues), for FO2 you just need to add it to the file "patch" which is just a text file.

  9. GoldenEye: Source 4K invisible text fix

This is a fix for text not appearing in GoldenEye: Source at 4K or higher resolutions. This works by changing the size thresholds for the largest font size to a much higher value, supporting even 8K displays.
    Two versions are available:
SourceScheme.res: Uses the default font sizes. SourceScheme_LargeText.res: Uses doubled font sizes for most UI elements. This makes text more readable on hiDPI displays, at the cost of spacing between text elements sometimes being quite low in some menus. Console and chat appearance are fine though. Installation:
Make sure the game is not currently running. Open the resource folder of the GoldenEye: Source installation folder, which is in Steam's steamapps/sourcemods/gesource folder. Replace SourceScheme.res with the downloaded file. Alternatively, download SourceScheme_LargeText.res, rename it to SourceScheme.res and replace the existing file in the installation folder. Start the game.

  13. Music Wrapper for Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Mysteries of the Sith

    Music Wrapper v1.2
for Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Mysteries of the Sith
This package bundles the best wrappers and known fixes to help get music working in both games.
For reference, both games used CD Audio for their music tracks. The modern, CD-less solution, used by resellers like GOG and Steam, is to rip the tracks to .ogg files and then supply a wrapper (a special .dll file) to translate the game's calls to play the CD tracks into calls to play the .ogg files from the hard drive, instead. Unfortunately, with newer builds of Windows that haven't been tested with the games' installed compatibility settings, that wrapper can stop working and the result is a loss of music.
This is primarily for the GOG and Steam releases of these games, since its their compatibility settings that interfere with the wrapper. You can, however, also use these instructions to get music working from the hard drive in the retail release.

    Install
    =======
Copy the five .dll files to your game folder, overwriting any that are already there.
If you still don't have music, perform the following steps, preferably checking music after each one:
    * Verify that you have a subfolder named Music with track files named Track12[-32].ogg (JK) or Track02[-14].ogg (MotS).
If you don't (or you'd like higher quality versions):
        * For JK, follow the directions at https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Jedi_Knight_–_Dark_Forces_II#Higher_quality_music
        * For MotS, follow the directions at https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Jedi_Knight_–_Mysteries_of_the_Sith#Higher_quality_music
    * Rename JK.exe (JK) or JKM.exe (MotS) to something else (ex. JediKnight.exe). This will disassociate the executable from installed compatibility settings that can interfere with music playback.
    * Double-click on the provided .reg file. This will remove the compatibility settings from the registry.
    * Delete/rename winmm.dll and rename winmm_alternate.dll to winmm.dll. See below for the differences between the two version.

    Wrappers
    ========
    * Winmm.dll is Tarvis' fixed wrapper for Windows 10, dated Oct 25, 2015. Credit belongs to Tarvis.
      His changelog:
-Game not starting on Windows 10
-Each level plays a track further than it should have
-Music playlist would not restart unless player stands still a few seconds/ enters then leaves esc menu
        -Music volume would not change
-Music took about half a second to stop when going back to main menu/starting a cutscene
      Source: https://www.gog.com/forum/star_wars_dark_forces_series/jk_updated_cd_music_player_dll_fix_volume_looping_etc/page1
    * Winmm_alternate.dll is GOG's wrapper, dated July 15, 2015. Credit belongs to GOG.
Unlike Tarvis' version, this one works with the German language pack (and, maybe, other non-English versions of the game or mods). It's possible that it's generally more compatible than Tarvis' version, but doesn't have most of the fixes. One reported issue is that the music stops playing once it's gone through all of the tracks (i.e. it won't loop back to the first track played). For that reason, it's not the default wrapper in this pack, but you may have to live with issues like that if you get no music at all with Tarvis' version.

    Changelog
    =========
1.2: Added .reg file and re-wrote the instructions
1.1: Added Tarvis' version, made it the default and re-wrote the instructions
    1.0: Initial release

  24. MGS1-Master-Collection-Bilinear-Patch Sammykay edit

Attention: There is now a simpler way of doing this here https://github.com/nuggslet/MGSM2Fix.
Thanks for your interest in my script in the mean time.

This is a modified version of the Bilinear Removal Patch by Santikun.
    https://github.com/Santikun/MGS1-Master-Collection-Bilinear-Patch

Edit: its now in the official github along side the main one: https://github.com/Santikun/MGS1-Master-Collection-Bilinear-Patch/tree/sammykay's-Patch

They did all the work for working out the method and script, I may think mine is a improvement but they are the one who did most of the work, I just wanted to make it more user friendly and consistent.

The way it works is that it unpacks the alldata.bin, replaces a file within it, then packs it backup. this disables the filter making the game look alot crisper.

Option 1 will use the registry to try and automate the whole process. Meaning you just run the file and its all done for you.

If the registry path is wrong in some way or there are other issues there is option 2. option 2 requires you to copy and paste the files to the folder of the patch first but otherwise is pretty straight foward.
Only option 1 backs up the files for you so if using option 2 and you want to back up the files you'll need to do so yourself.
there is also a .bat file included that will open the folder where the files are located for you, if this fails then the registry path either doesn't exist or is incorrect.
