  2. Version 1.1

    1,773 downloads

The mod removes pillarboxing and adjusts the vertical FOV to match that of 16:9. The pre-rendered cutscenes will be unaffected. Use software like PeaZip or 7-Zip and password pcgw to unpack the 7z archive. Play through the dog customization part at the very start of the game at 16:9. Pressing alt+enter should work as well. The mod is best used with DoF off. For higher FOV at 21:9, simply use the 32:9 patcher instead. Tested the Game Pass version at 3440x1440 and 3840x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.

    Version 1.6

    236 downloads

Unpack the archive and put the "ultrawide" (for 21:9) or "superwide" (for 32:9) folder in "mods" within the main game folder. Launch the game and enable the mod by checking its box Quit the game Open %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Nolla_Games_Noita\save_shared\config.xml in a text editor and change internal_size_w="1280" to internal_size_w="1707" (for 21:9) or internal_size_w="2560" (for 32:9) Launch the game again - the mod should be working now! Tested the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5120x1440. You can buy me a coffee here.

  5. Version 3.4

    11,599 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes, cinematic cameras, shops and a number of other areas at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Since version 2.0 it also removes pillarboxing from the photo mode. Since version 3.0, it allows for custom FOV adjustment. Launch the game first, then the tool. The password for the archive is pcgw As expected from a trainer based on CE components, this tool does get falsely flagged by some anti-virus software as a trojan, while the rest correctly mark it as a "hacktool". Use the tool provided here at own risk and ideally avoid playing RDR Online without completely disabling the fix - especially the FOV hack. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Additionally confirmed as working by two volunteers from WSGF. You can buy me a coffee here.
  6. Version 1.1

    441 downloads

The patchers remove pillarboxing from the game at 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9, resulting in more horizontal FOV. Some of the in-game images and cutscenes do not appear to be wide enough to fully fill the screen, but the main cutscenes, menu and gameplay become free of black bars. Unpack the archive and use the applicable tool to patch \ChildrenOfMorta_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll within the game folder. Tested briefly at 2560x1080 and 5760x1080 in the latest GOG version. You can buy me a coffee here.
  7. Version 2.1

    8,356 downloads

The trainers for Xbox/Microsoft and Epic game versions, and patchers for EGS and future versions remove pillarboxing (black bars) from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens and offer the option to adjust FOV. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Making changes to Engine.ini to increase FOV through Y-axis calculation is no longer recommended, as it gets reset by finishers and possibly other in-game events. Make sure the config is in its default state to avoid unexpected issues. The mod does not address the cropping of the viewmodel and stretching of FMVs. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX=, ResolutionSizeY=, DesiredScreenWidth=, DesiredScreenHeight= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Getting into the settings in the game will undo the changes, so make sure to have configured the game to preference prior to editing the config. You can buy me a coffee here.

The tool forces the game to use the desktop resolution, removing black bars. For the Steam version, follow the steps of this guide. Option 2 (works with Game Pass): Download the included trainer and unpack it with software like PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game, then the tool. Press the shown keys to remove the black bars and adjust FOV as desired. To avoid upscaling, edit %LOCALAPPDATA%\BloodstainedRotN\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini and at the end add ResolutionSizeX=YOUR_WIDTH ResolutionSizeY=YOUR_HEIGHT and set FullscreenMode=0 Changing game settings may reset the above. 12. Version 2.0.1

    1,630 downloads

The mod previously removed pillarboxing from the gameplay and menu, letterboxing from the cutscenes and adjusted FOV at 21:9 and wider resolutions. As of update 1.028a, the game only needs FOV adjustment to compensate for the reduced vertical FOV at the cutscenes at 21:9 and wider. The tool allows for real-time FOV adjustment affecting both the cutscenes and the gameplay. As any trainer based on CE components, it may trigger some anti-virus software. Use software like 7zip or PeaZip to unpack the archive. The password is pcgw Launch the game first, followed by the tool. Enable custom FOV adjustment and tweak FOV to preference. Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. The game copy was generously funded by AlRayes of Ultrawide Benchmarks. You can buy me a coffee here.
