  1. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - Widescreen Fix

This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio without having to change FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 48:9. This fixes the camera FOV as well.
    Instructions:
    1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file.
    2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it).
    3. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to be in 4:3, don't change it in Default.ini).
    4. You're good to go.
    Issues:
    - HUD and menus are stretched.

  14. Adventures of Lomax patch (bypass 8-bit/16-bit color requirement)

Note: Use only if the DxWnd method doesn't work for you!
A hexadecimal patch for Adventures of Lomax that bypasses the 8-bit/16-bit color requirement. (The error message reads "Lomax will only run on 8 and 16 bit deep desktops")
    Causes transparency effect issues.
    To run:
    1. Backup the original LOMAX.EXE (rename it to LOMAX.EXE.BAK) and place this patched .exe into your game installation folder.
    2. Set the .exe to run in compatibility mode for Windows 95/98/ME.
Method discovered by jessetsumpter of VOGONS: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=51166
    Demonstrated by RetroJackal on YouTube:
    To patch the game in the same manner yourself, hex edit LOMAX.EXE by changing the hexadecimal string 83 FD 08 74 1E 83 FD 10 74 19 to 83 FD 08 74 1E 83 FD 10 EB 19.

  16. The Even More Incredible Machine: GOG2CD Patch

The Even More Incredible Machine: GOG2CD Patch is an unofficial patch for The Even More Incredible Machine, which restores CD music and speech, included in the original release of the game to the GOG release.
Installation: Extract files from the "The Even More Incredible Machine CD Patch" folder into the game's main folder and run "Patch.bat" with administrator privileges (I know, it's neither ideal nor safe, but Windows has a strange fetish for forcing the user to run files with administrator privileges when they are in a folder embedded in Program Files and try to modify something in this folder).

    Bugs:
    - Dynamix intro animation has no sound (original CD release behavior).
    - CD music does not respond to in-game volume settings.

    Instructions:

  20. Half-Life: Quality Of Life Fixes (Retail & Steam)

These DLL files contain fixes for the Steam version of Half-Life that have yet to be fixed. These were compiled from the hlfixed branch of Flying With Gauss (FWGS) HLSDK-Portable. These were not compiled by default. Latest commit as of compiling is 4160949
These fixes do not alter or add anything significant. These are small fixes that will not alter the original Half-Life experience.
    The most notable fixes are:
Crowbar will no longer "Rapid Fire" when hitting certain corpses. Some viewmodel animation fixes such as timing issues or not working. Tripmine beam won't be duplicated when loading into a new area. There are other fixes applied and you can find them in the changelog on the Github page. The optional parameters are also applied.

    Notes:
This will only work with Half-Life. The expansions and any mods may not work with this as they provide their own files which differ from Half-Life's.
It is unknown if this is safe for multiplayer (May trigger VAC).

Installation Instructions. Use the zip file corresponding to the version of the game being used.

    ==Steam Version==
Download the zip file for Steam.  Navigate to where Half-Life is installed (the location of hl.exe). Extract the zip in that directory. There should now be a valve_addon folder. Launch the game and go to settings. Under the video tab, check the box that says "Allow custom addon content" and click apply and OK. The game will restart. It is now installed. ==Retail Version==
Note: Backup any original files. Unfortunately the files must be replaced as the valve_addon folder does not work in retail.
Download the zip for Retail. Navigate to where Half-Life is installed (the location of hl.exe). Extract the archive and overwrite the valve folder. It is now installed.

  21. Torrente - Widescreen & FOV Fix

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the resolution, field of view and HUD in the open world first/third-person shooter game "Torrente" (2001), since the game only supports a limited amount of 4:3 resolutions (640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768).
    Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/TorrenteWidescreenFix
    Credits also go to: Automaniak
    Instructions:
    1. Extract all files to the game folder.
    2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.
    3. Set the desired resolution and FOV factor in TorrenteWidescreenFix.ini.
    - Issues:
:-: Backgrounds in main menu and loading screens are still stretched at non-4:3 resolutions.
:-: Above ultrawide resolutions or with higher FOVs, parts of the map randomly start disappearing for some reason (I have no idea why this happens).
:-: On the 1.0 version of the game, the cursor escapes the window on ultrawide resolutions and higher, even when in-game. 1.1 releases solve this issue.

    Instructions:
    - Extract the executable that corresponds to the resolution you want to use, to the root game folder, replacing any original files.
    - Choose 1280x1024 in the ingame graphic settings. (Don't worry, the new resolution is permanent).

  23. Michelin Rally Masters: Race of Champions - FOV Fix

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view and HUD in the first/third-person racing game "Michelin Rally Masters: Race of Champions" (2000), since the game crops the view at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3 (Vert-).
    Credits also go to: Automaniak
    Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/MichelinRallyMastersRaceOfChampionsFOVFix
    Instructions:
    1. Extract all files to the game folder.
    2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.
    3. Set the desired resolution to fix the cropping and FOV factor in MichelinRallyMastersRaceOfChampionsFOVFix.ini.
    - Issues:
:-: The car interiors are not complete and that will be visible at wider FOVs/resolutions, this isn't an issue of this fix but from the game itself.
