The tool allows to adjust FOV in real time and remove the black bars from cutscenes and dialogue scenes at 21:9 and other common wider resolutions. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the keys as instructed Tested the latest Epic Games Store version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. This RAR file contains modified lithtech.exe files that fix the FOV issue in Nina: Agent Chronicles (2002), as the game's engine, LithTech Talon, stretches the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3, due to it having a constant horizontal FOV, no matter the resolution chosen. Supported aspect ratios: 5:4, 1.85:1, 2.39:1, 2.76:1, 12:3, 15:4, 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 21:9 (2560x1080), 21:9 (3440x1440), 21:9 (3840x1600), 32:9, 32:10, 45:9, 48:9 and 48:10. Tools used: OllyDbg, Cheat Engine, HxD Instructions: 1. Extract the lithtech.exe that corresponds to your aspect ratio to the main game folder, overwriting the original executable. 2. Set your resolution in <path-to-game>/autoexec.cfg. 3. Look for the lines "GameScreenHeight", "SCREENHEIGHT", "SCREENWIDTH" and "GameScreenWidth". 4. Once in-game, don't go to the video options or the custom resolution is lost. Instructions for other aspect ratios: 1. So, the LithTech engine declares FOV values with radians as 32-bit floats. The hex location for horizontal FOV is in the address 000CAF91. 2. Open one of the modded lithtech.exe files in a hex editor like HxD. 3. Press Ctrl+G and go to the offset address in step 1. 4. Highlight the 4 pairs of values after where the cursor is positioned after doing the search for the address. 5. Use a degrees to radians converter like this one: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/degrees-to-radians.html 6. Enter your desired degrees (horizontal FOV). 7. Press "Convert". 8. Copy the radians result and go back to HxD. 9. Go to the "Data inspector" tab at the right side and paste the value in the "Single (float32)" row. 10. Press Enter and save the file. Your new horizontal FOV will be saved permanently.

This RAR file contains a modified client.dll intended to fix the FOV in Sanity: AIken's Artifact (2000). The game's engine, LithTech 2.0, has Vert- scaling at wider resolutions than 4:3, and makes the game unplayable in many sections at aspect ratios wider than 16:9. This fix supports the following aspect ratios: 12:5, 16:9, 16:10, 64:27 (21:9), 32:9, 43:18, 48:9 and 256:135. Instructions: 1. Extract client.dll to <path-to-game>/LITHTECH/, overwriting the original file (the original client.dll is included in case you want it back). Credits also go to: Automaniak

This RAR file contains modified truck.exe files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio (HOR+) for the 2003 racing game Tough Trucks: Modified Monsters. The fix supports the following aspect ratios: 5:4, 12:5, 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 25:16, 32:9, 43:18, 64:27. HUD and texts are also fixed. Instructions: 1. Extract the file from the folder that corresponds to your desired aspect ratio and replace the original one in the game folder (first make a backup of it, if needed). 2. Select your desired resolution in the game launcher. Credits also go to: Automaniak
  5. Version 2.2.1

Note: A standalone solution for the Director's Cut edition is now available. The tools allow for support of any display aspect ratio and real-time FOV adjustment in Death Stranding. The gameplay and engine-rendered cutscenes will properly fill the screen, while the state of the pre-rendered cutscenes will depend on the used solution. Option 1: A trainer automatically detecting any resolution and allowing to make the zoomed pre-rendered cutscenes 16:9. Left alignment of the pre-rendered cutscenes is a known issue. The tool also allows to adjust FOV at any aspect ratio. Unpack the archive - the password is pcgw Launch the game, followed by the trainer Press the desired keys - ideally from the main menu and before any cutscenes Go to Graphics Settings and select your resolution under 21:9 Correcting the aspect ratio may require switching to 16:9 in Graphics Settings, then back to 21:9. Option 2: The known ultrawide solution made into patchers limited to common wide resolutions and keeping the pre-rendered cutscenes zoomed. Tested on the latest Steam version at 1920x1080, 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080 (HUD is spanned). I may have been the first to discover the common sense aspect ratio change solution (as seen on the WSGF Discord), but I am certainly not the one who published the bytes first (looks like it was FasterThanFTL). As such, I am not taking any credit for the patchers but you can buy me a coffee or support me on Patreon for the trainer built over many hours of 100% unique research, calculations and code.

This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio without having to change FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 48:9. This fixes both the camera and weapon FOVs, unlike the FOV workaround through User.ini, which only fixes the camera FOV. Instructions: 1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file. 2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it). 3. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to be in 4:3, don't change it in RM.ini). 4. You're good to go. Issues: - HUD and menus are stretched. Password: pcgw

The patchers for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions remove black bars from the game - the pillarboxing from the gameplay and the windowboxing from the cutscenes. Installation instructions are available within the patchers. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080 on a single monitor. Giving back to the community with this one! 106,936 downloads

A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer. As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled. Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080. The tool for the Microsoft Store version of the game is based in part on the Flawless Widescreen findings by HaYDeN, removing black bars from the game and allowing to change the third-person and first-person field of view in real time. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Enable the black bars fix and press Alt+Enter in the game twice to properly adjust the aspect ratio. Alternatively, enable the fix at the loading intro screens. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Game Pass version primarily at 2560x1080, briefly at 3440x1440 and 3840x1080. 21. Version v1.2

    228 downloads

This RAR file contains a modified Mech3.exe, which fixes the lack of the HiRes Patch's support for wider aspect ratios and higher FOV (Hor+) for a perfect experience, since the HiRes Patch just adds support for higher resolutions but keeps the game's internal aspect ratio at 4:3, which obviously looks stretched and not correct. Game has to be updated to version 1.2 before replacing the exe. Supported aspect ratios: 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 25:16, 32:9, 48:9, 64:27 Instructions: 1. If your aspect ratio is 16:9 or 16:10, download the HiRes Patch from here and also the Widescreen Fix. If it's different from 16:9 and 16:10, just use the Widescreen Fix and force a resolution in dgVoodoo2 that has the same aspect ratio you chose. 2. Extract the HiRes Patch files from your chosen aspect ratio to the main game folder first and then extract the equivalent file of the Widescreen Fix, overwriting Mech3.exe from the Hi-Res Patch. 3. For 1440p or higher, a DirectX wrapper like dgVoodoo2 is needed. To force a higher resolution than what the HiRes Patch allows, choose a resolution in the game launcher that matches your aspect ratio (lowest as possible is better), and then choose 4K in dgVoodoo2's DirectX tab. 4. Launch the game from the HiRes Patch's launcher, choosing a resolution inside it. Known issues: - Neither Widescreen Fix or HiRes Patch fix the HUD size for aspect ratios other than 16:9 or 16:10, so they will be stretched. It will be fixed in a near future. - No support for Pirate's Moon expansion yet. Credits also go to: Automaniak

The tools remove black bars from the game at resolutions including 16:10, 21:9 and 32:9. There will be UI alignment issues, especially noticeable at the world map, but the game appears to be fully playable with no elements out of view. For the trainer, Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Press the hotkey to toggle the fix. Tested on the latest Steam and Game Pass versions at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080 and 5120x1440. The 16:10 solution was tested on a Steam Deck by Heron. The tool removes black bars from the game at 21:9, 32:9, 48:9 and other wide resolutions. Download and unpack the archive using software like 7zip or PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the "Enable" key While in the game, briefly switch to the Borderless or Fullscreen mode. Use the tool to manually adjust the UI size at 32:9 and wider resolutions. Known issues: Stretched loading screens and rare FMVs. Minor UI display and alignment issues. Use the UI adjustment keys if necessary. The window mode switching requirement is also undesirable, hence the version number! Tested the latest Epic version at 2560x1080, briefly at 3840x1080, 5760x1080, 5120x2160 and 7680x1080 on a single monitor. You can buy me a coffee here.

Note: A standalone solution for the Spacer's Choice edition is now available. The trainers for Microsoft, Epic, Steam and GOG game versions remove black bars from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens, and correct the field of view and hands model scaling at ultrawide and wider resolutions. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Run the game first, followed by the trainer, and press the button as instructed. Some delay is possible. The mod does not address the stretching of pre-rendered cutscenes. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX= and ResolutionSizeY= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Getting into the settings in the game will undo the changes, so make sure to have configured the game to preference prior to editing the config. You can buy me a coffee or become a patron. Linktree.

Tested on the latest Steam version primarily at 2560x1080. You can support my work here.
