  1. Version 0.9.9

    32,647 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the game at 21:9, 32:9, 48:9 and other wide resolutions. Download and unpack the archive using software like 7zip or PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the "Enable" key While in the game, briefly switch to the Borderless or Fullscreen mode. Use the tool to manually adjust the UI size at 32:9 and wider resolutions. Known issues: Stretched loading screens and rare FMVs. Minor UI display and alignment issues. Use the UI adjustment keys if necessary. The window mode switching requirement is also undesirable, hence the version number! Tested the latest Epic version at 2560x1080, briefly at 3840x1080, 5760x1080, 5120x2160 and 7680x1080 on a single monitor. You can buy me a coffee here.

Using this file downloaded from the latest demo version allows to enable HDR in the full version. See the wiki article to achieve it. Credits to Steam user dmix90 for publishing (and discovering?) this solution.
  3. Version 1.0.0

This patch disables Temporal Anti-Aliasing and Depth of Field on Detroit: Become Human. If you own Steam version of the game, you need to unpack the executable with Steamless first. You can take a look at this video footage, where I compare some cutscenes in the original version with the patched one. Also, some screenshots: Further notes: due to the nature of the problem TAA tries to solve, you may see some artifacts on screen (especially on hair, some reflective surfaces, etc.). Nevertheless these are minor glitches that should not bother you too much. in order to disable TAA, DoF needs to be disabled as well (the patch automatically disable both) Should you encounter any issue, feel free to leave a comment 😉
  4. The Steam pages for Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human have just popped up and it appears that the demos for the games do not contain Denuvo Anti-Tamper. The demos lack the telltale signs of Denuvo, including enlarged file sizes and certain strings contained within the exe. This is unlike the versions of the game that exist on the Epic Games Store, which contain Denuvo in the main release exe as well as the demo files. This is despite the fact that the game 'Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA', which contains numerous mentions that the product 'may be protected' using Denuvo Anti-Tamper: It remains to be seen whether the main releases will contain Denuvo. A release date for Heavy Rain has not been confirmed, but we would expect that it would release on Steam on June 24, 2020, exactly a year from its initial release on Epic Games Store. In the meantime, check out our wiki articles: Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human.
