Start the game. Steam Deck/Linux: Extract the zip file to the game's installation directory. Open the game properties in Steam (Right-click game -> Properties). Under General -> Launch Options, paste exactly this command: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b" %command% Start the game. Additionally: If you are downloading this mod for the first time, an Ultrawideconfig.ini with your system specs will be automatically created upon launch. Check the .ini file to ensure width and height match your resolution. You can also enable/disable 16:10 HUD scaling here. Don't forget to save. Check in-game that your resolution is correct. You can adjust the FOV in-game. It's called Camera Angle and Distance. Note: If you have used other mods before, make sure they don't conflict (e.g., mods changing aspect ratio or vignettes). If something isn't working, feel free to leave a comment here or in the WSGF Discord. Overlay & Configuration You can use the mods overlay to fine-tune the camera for 2D sections and rain effects. Toggle overlay with F9 Mouse wheel can be used for fine-tuning values. Once satisfied, click "Save Config". Settings are applied automatically on the next startup. Gamepad controls are passed through to the game even while the overlay is open. Note: The overlay is only compatible with Borderless or Windowed mode. Make sure it's present in the original: SONIC_GENERATIONS.exe SONIC_X_SHADOW_GENERATIONS.exe Extract the zip file to the game's installation directory. If you download this mod first time a Ultrawideconfig.ini with your specs will be created. Make sure that your width and height in the ini file is right. There is also a option for 16:10 Hud Scaling. Don't forget to save. If you've used other mods before, make sure they don't conflict or have something to do with aspect ratio or vignette. Check in-game that your resolution is correct. You can use the overlay to fine-tune the camera for the 2D sections and the rain in Shadow Gens. The mouse wheel can also be used for fine-tuning. Once you're satisfied with your configuration, you can save it. The saved settings will then be applied directly every time you start the game. Gamepad controls will still be passed through to the game. Only compatible with borderless and window mode. Toggle the overlay with "F9". The UI Fix will not be fully active at the start of a new game in Classic, during the first level with Classic Sonic (before the first FMV), because the values only become available afterwards. For Steam Deck/Linux you need to add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm=n,b" %command% to the Steam launch options for the game. Use the tool to manually adjust the UI size at 32:9 and wider resolutions. Known issues: Stretched loading screens and rare FMVs. Minor UI display and alignment issues. Use the UI adjustment keys if necessary. The window mode switching requirement is also undesirable, hence the version number! Unpack the game executable from the executable folder using Steamless. Rename the unpacked file back to Ducktales.exe (not Ducktales.exe.exe) Use the applicable patcher from here to target the game exe as instructed. Tested on the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 3840x1080.

    The tools remove black bars from the in-game cutscenes. Option 1 (reliable; pillarboxing removal): Download and unpack the patcher archive. Use the included tool to patch engine_x64_rwdi.dll inside the main game folder. Re-patch in the event of a game update. This solution has no effect on letterboxing, retaining the native vert- behavior compared to 16:9. Option 2 (less reliable; removes all black bars): Download and unpack the trainer with software like 7zip (password is pcgw). Launch the game, then the tool.     Note: A standalone solution for the Spacer's Choice edition is now available. The trainers for Microsoft, Epic, Steam and GOG game versions remove black bars from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens, and correct the field of view and hands model scaling at ultrawide and wider resolutions. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Run the game first, followed by the trainer, and press the button as instructed. Some delay is possible. The mod does not address the stretching of pre-rendered cutscenes. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX= and ResolutionSizeY= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Run the game and then alt+tab. 6. Start Xenos.exe, choose the game's process in the dropdown menu right next to "Process" (choose udh.exe). 7. Drag TycoonCityNewYorkFOVFix.asi to the white box below "Images". 8. Press "Inject" and that's it. - Issues: :-: This process has to be repeated everytime you run the game. Since the executable hangs on startup when it attemps to load any DLLs that the ASI loader supports, this was the only fast way I found to load the ASI file into the game.
