Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ONINAKI Simply double click _install_prompts.bat Done!
If you don't trust batch files or just want to do it manually:
Simply move the buttonprompts_pc file over to

Uninstalling the mod Just double-click _uninstall_prompts.bat or just rename the original file back if you did it manually.
OPTIONAL: Changing the pause button
On PS4, the pause button is touchpad. However, the default controller config has this mapped to Share.
If you do not care about this, you're done. If you'd like to change this, read on.
Please note that if you do not change this, in game the pause button will show the touchpad, but it's instead the Share button!
Connect controller and turn it on.
Right-click on ONINAKI in your Steam library and select Edit Steam Controller Configuration
Click on the touchpad mapping (which should say Mouse Button) then change it to:
Single Button -> Trackpack Click -> SELECT

Dungeon Siege 2 mouse cursor fix
By Genesis
These are hex-edited executables for the retail (patched to 2.3) and Steam versions of Dungeon Siege 2. It should fix the missing cursor when playing fullscreen on Windows 10 v1703 or later.
The only downside is that it creates a bug when playing in windowed mode where the camera rotates way too fast when using middle-click (see https://steamcommunity.com/app/39200/discussions/0/1643164649220168122). Just use your original executable if you wish to play in windowed mode.
Credits to Killah for originally making this fix for the Broken World expansion.

Borderlands (2009) retail SecuROM manual release date check
By Aemony
The retail copy of Borderlands (2009) uses SecuROM DFA to perform an automatic online-based release date check to prevent pre-release access to the game. The online servers this service relies upon, however, is non-working as of 2019, and this manual tool is required instead.
Instructions:
These instructions must be performed before the installation of the game is started from the retail disc.
1. Download and run Borderland-ManualReleaseDateCheck.exe from this page.
2. The tool should automatically start up at the "Generate Request File" step and prompt you to save a "ActivationRequest.dfa" file.
3. Click on "Select..." and pick an appropriate location.
4. Click on "Next". The tool should save the activation request file on the desired location and move unto the next step called "Activate License File". Leave this window open for now.
5. Now open SecuROM's official DFA Manual Activation page in a web browser.
6. Click on "Browse..." on the website and select the "ActivationRequest.dfa" file you saved using the tool.
7. Leave the "Serial Number" field empty if your retail copy of Borderlands (2009) didn't come with a serial number (only GOTY-versions did, I believe, and only for the DLCs).
8. Type in the security code, and click on "Submit Query".
9. You should be taken on a new web page that says "Your 'ActivationResponse.lic'-file has been created sucessfully" and give you a link do download said license file. Click on the link to download it.
10. Now go back to the SecuROM tool you left at the "Activate License File" step.
11. Click on "Open..." and select the "ActivationResponse.lic" file that was downloaded from the SecuROM webpage.
12. Click on "Activate". You should get a message about the activation process being successful. Click on "Next" to close down the tool.
13. Finally, proceed with the installation of the retail disc copy of Borderlands from the disc.

Singles language config folder
By Camranbant
Some installations of Singles are missing some files needed for the game to run in other languages.
copy the contents of this folder into your game's Config folder. in gamelang.cfg there is a "--" next to the word "Translator" for every language. whichever language doesn't have the "--" is the one the game will use.
by default this is #international english version, to change it add a -- before "translator" and then remove the "--" before the language you want

Shogo Prefixed AM18.dll and Dgvoodoo2 Setting Suggestions
This has a prefixed version of the AM18.dll file to help restore music to Shogo: Mobile Armor Division in Windows XP and beyond (means you don't have to worry about hex editing the file yourself). I also added screenshots of my dgVoodoo2 settings for those playing the game on modern systems, as the game seems very temperamental on what settings it likes and these worked for me.

NieR: Automata - Input Overhaul Mod
By Methanhydrat
TL;DR
This mod fixes various mouse and keyboard related input issues in NieR: Automata. Its features include raw mouse input for camera and aim movement, an entirely new crosshair aiming mode, non-standard bindings for dash/evade, pod auto-fire and more.
Quick start guide:
Important: If you currently have NAIOM v1.3.0 or older installed, remove the XInput1_3.dll from the games’s directory first!
Extract the file dinput8.dll to your main game folder. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NieRAutomata\". Start the NAIOM-GUI.exe to configure the mod (might require .NET runtime 3.1.0) Start the game as usual, for example directly through Steam Download sources:
PC Gaming Wiki Nexusmods Features
The NieR: Automata Input Overhaul Mod (NAIOM) aims to solve all keyboard and mouse related issues in the game. As many other rough PC ports, NieR was primarily designed with a controller in mind and internally maps keyboard and mouse input to gamepad controls. This leads to various issue, including negative and positive mouse acceleration, as well as weird controls in certain perspectives, e.g. when aiming in side-scrolling mode.
Its features include:
Raw mouse input without any acceleration or smoothing Precise sensitivity configuration (calibrated for KovaaK’s SensitivityMatcher) Fixed camera movement in third-person perspective New (optional) crosshair aiming mode for side-scrolling and top-down perspective New (optional) mouse cursors for menu and hacking (made by DevianArt user JulioDRai) Completely rebindable standard actions to any key or button combination including additional mouse buttons Non-standard keybindings, such as a dedicated dash/evade and pod fire toggle Compatible with FAR/SpecialK mod (must be configured to not use dinput8.dll) Known Issues
In the third-person view the camera might sometimes judder when it is near obstacles, such as walls. This has only partially to do with the mod, since the issue also occurs without it, but might just be more noticeable with it enabled Using the bindings of the mod does currently not change the ingame button prompts The new aiming mod crosshair is sometimes slightly misaligned When using the new aiming mode the crosshair does currently also activate in situations where the aiming direction is fixed, e.g. in the side-scrolling flying mode The non-standard item switch bindings currently do not work as described in the tooltip when certain items are equipped Supported Versions
This mod is designed for the latest version of the game and might not be compatible with older or modified executables!

music Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns Music for GOG release
By SirYodaJedi
By default, the GOG release (and probably the Steam release) of Galactic Battlegrounds Saga includes music, but rather than using the CD Audio from the Clone Campaigns expansion disc or the second disc of the "Galactic Battlegrounds Saga" combo re-release, it uses the CD Audio from the original 2001 release. This means that the audio track that plays during gameplay is 7 minutes and 28 seconds shorter and doesn't contain any music from Attack of the Clones.
The music here has been ripped from the second disc of the "Galactic Battlegrounds Saga" release of the game, put through an error checker, and converted to a 500 kbps Ogg Vorbis file. To use in the GOG release of the game, simply extract the contents of the RAR archive to the installation folder using 7-Zip or WinRAR.
