The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes and other places, such as the mini-games in Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip using the password pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Press the hotkey to toggle the black bars off and on. Make sure to restart the tool when switching between games. All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Game Pass version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee or become a patron.

Copy all files from .zip to the game's installation directory. FMVs are stretched. Loading screens are pillarboxed. I have repositioned UI objects where possible. also available on github If you like my work you can support me here: patreon Credits PhantomGamers for SUWSF
  3. Version 1.1

    133,300 downloads

A total overhaul of the old Flawless Widescreen script for GTA V that has been dysfunctional for many months if not longer. As before, it allows for fine-tuning of FOV per each view - first person, in-vehicle, ADS, and third person. It also allows to remove the pillarboxing at cutscenes at 21:9 and wider, although having the latter enabled may cause some confirmation prompts to disappear at 32:9 and wider until disabled. Download and install Flawless Widescreen. Download this script and unpack the archive. Put its contents in the main Flawless Widescreen folder (usually \Program Files (x86)\Flawless Widescreen\). Launch Flawless Widescreen, select Grand Theft Auto V (updated) and set everything to preference. Tested the latest game version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee.
  4. Version 0.9.9

    45,201 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the game at 21:9, 32:9, 48:9 and other wide resolutions. Download and unpack the archive using software like 7zip or PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the "Enable" key While in the game, briefly switch to the Borderless or Fullscreen mode. Use the tool to manually adjust the UI size at 32:9 and wider resolutions. Known issues: Stretched loading screens and rare FMVs. Minor UI display and alignment issues. Use the UI adjustment keys if necessary. The window mode switching requirement is also undesirable, hence the version number! Tested the latest Epic version at 2560x1080, briefly at 3840x1080, 5760x1080, 5120x2160 and 7680x1080 on a single monitor. You can buy me a coffee here.

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the action-adventure puzzle game "The Da Vinci Code" (2006). Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/TheDaVinciCodeFOVFix Instructions: 1. Extract all files to the game folder. 2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder. 3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV in TheDaVinciCodeFOVFix.ini.
  7. Version 2.0

    152 downloads

The game can be run in widescreen by changing the resolution in the VideoSettings.scr config file, but this results in stretched HUD and text, and cropped vertical FOV (Vert-). This RAR file fixes both of those, and contains modified code.pak and .scr files that fix the FOV and HUD for the 2006 racing game GTI Racing. The fix supports the following aspect ratios: 5:4, 12:5, 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 25:16, 43:18 and 64:27 (basically same as 21:9). Instructions: 1. Extract the files inside the folder that corresponds to your desired aspect ratio to the main game folder, overwriting all original files (make a backup of those first if needed). 2. Set your desired resolution in VideoSettings.scr (<main game folder>/Data/VideoSettings.scr). Credits go to: Automaniak
  8. Version 1.2

    401 downloads

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the third-person action game "The Mummy" (2000), as the game's engine, SR Engine, stretches the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3. Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/TheMummyFOVFix Instructions: 1. Extract all files to the game folder. 2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder. 3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV and FOV factor in TheMummyFOVFix.ini.

This ultrawide patch for Persona 4 Golden modifies the supported resolution list to add support for your chosen ultrawide resolution and modifies the screen AR and gameplay AR to fill the screen correctly. It replaces the need to use a reshade filter to stretch the image. Tested on the Steam release of Persona 4 Golden as of 21st of June 2020. Credit and thanks to StevieCoops#6722 on the WSGF Discord for assistance and testing. How to install: Download the patcher that matches your resolution and type of UI you want. Extract the patcher exe from the zip using the password 'pcgw'. Run the patcher and click the 3 dots and find 'P4G.exe' then hit start. Known issues: Adjusting render scale above or below 100% will interfere with the UI offset. Screen filters such as the scanline-effect in the TV world will only fill the center portion of the screen. Various other visual bugs due to seeing outside of the rendered UI. Internal resolution is 16:9 (3440x1935 using the 3440x1440 patcher). Interface is misaligned for mouse interactions. Example of centered UI. Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions or issues.

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the aspect ratio and field of view in the stealth first-person game "Project IGI 1: I'm Going In" (2000), as the game's engine crops the view at wider resolutons than 4:3 (Vert-). This fix supports the American, European 1.0 and Re-release, Italian, Chinese and Japanese versions. Credits also go to: AuToMaNiAk005 Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/ProjectIGI1FOVFix Instructions: 1. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV, camera FOV and weapon FOV in ProjectIGI1FOVFix.ini.
  11. Version 1.4

    456 downloads

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the action FPS/TPS game "MechWarrior 3" (1999). Credits also go to: AuToMaNiAk005 Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/MechWarrior3FOVFix Instructions: 1. Extract all files to the game folder. 2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder. 3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV in MechWarrior3FOVFix.ini. - Note: :-: To use this fix with the Zipper Fixup patch, use a DLL injection tool like Xenos to inject it into the game instead of the ASI loader, since the ASI loader doesn't work with the Zipper Fixup exe.

Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/SanityAikensArtifactFOVFix Instructions: 1. Extract all files to the game folder. 2. 15. Version 1.0.0

    247 downloads

This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio without having to change FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 48:9. This fixes both the camera and weapon FOVs, unlike the FOV workaround through the User.ini and profile .ini files, which only fixes the camera FOV. Instructions: 1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file. 2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it). 3. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to be in 4:3, don't change it in DMH.ini). 4. You're good to go. Issues: - HUD and menus are stretched. Credits also go to: Automaniak Password: pcgw
  16. Version 1.2

The game features FMVs and rendered cutscenes that get pillarboxed at 21:9 and wider resolutions. This patcher removes the black bars from the rendered cutscenes and has no effect on the FMVs as there is no way to hack a pre-recorded video to add more content. Simply unpack the archive and patch the main game exe. Tested on the latest Steam version at 2560x1080 and briefly at 5760x1080 in both DX modes. You can support me on patreon. Close the fixer, open Config.exe, select any resolution in the menu, and click OK (this applies the new resolution in-game, don't worry those resolutions are overrided by the new one due to modifications I did to Config.exe). 4. You're good to go. - Issues: :-: HUD and menus are stretched. :-: Do not alt+tab while the game is open, since if the game regains focus again, the viewport will be messed up.
