True Crime: Streets of LA - FOV Fix
By AlphaYellow
So this fix is intended to fix the FOV in True Crime: Streets of LA (2003), since ThirteenAG's Widescreen Fix doesn't fix the field of view, only the aspect ratios and resolutions. The fix supports the following aspect ratios: 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 32:10, 48:9 and 48:10.
Instructions:
- Just extract TrueCrime.exe from the folder of your desired aspect ratio to the main game folder, overwriting the original one (make a backup of it in case the exe isn't compatible or something).
- Possible issues:
:-: Might crash the game (not confirmed if it does, might not happen to you at all).
:-: Some clipping issues might appear, but it's not 100% confirmed yet too.
- Instructions for other aspect ratios:
1. Open one of the modded TrueCrime.exe files in a hex editor like HxD, press Ctrl+G and go to offset 00275A10.
2. The calculation for the horizontal FOV is located in the first four pairs of values in the offset address, and for vertical FOV it is located in the next 4 pairs after that. Before you replace the current values, first apply this formula: (4 / 3) / aspect_ratio (example: for 16:9 it is (4 / 3) / 1.777778 = 0.75, because 16 / 9 = 1.777778).
3. After finding the result from the formula, highlight each of the FOV values, then go to the "Data inspector" tab, put the value in the "Single (float32)" row and press Enter. Both horizontal and vertical FOV values need to have the same value, since they're based on the game's resolution.
4. Save the file.

Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed Combined Patch by Tsalikon
Installation
Copy everything in the "Copy" folder into your game folder, replacing anything it asks you to. Run config.exe as administrator. If you don't see it, your antivirus probably deleted it since several report a false positive on this file. Select OpenGL 3 as the renderer and click the screwdriver/wrench icon, then set the following options: Exclusive mode: Checked Screen resolution: By desktop Aspect ratio: Preserve original Color depth: 32 bpp Refresh rate: 60 Hz (or your monitor's refresh rate) Vert. synchronization: On Gamma correction: 1.0 (Lower this if you prefer a darker game) Depth buffer: 32 bpp Click the "More options" button and set the following options: Windowed mode: Your choice Fog: Checked Filtering: Checked Single proc affinity: Unchecked CPU Frequency (MHz): 0 No error reporting: Unchecked No movies: Your choice Car control: Your choice Click Save and close config.exe. Add anistropic filtering and anti-aliasing for Porsche.exe through your graphic driver settings. (Optional) Choose your driver name and photo: - Rename the file "8Driver.sav" in the SaveData folder to what you'd like your name to be. The number at the front (1-8) selects which photo/driver head to use. - Open the player.lst file in the SaveData folder with a text editor, and set the name to whatever you named the .sav file. - (Optional - Only affects your name in multiplayer) Open 8Driver.sav in a text editor and do a search for "Driver". Replace the first two instances with whatever the file is called (without the number at the beginning). Don't replace the "FactoryDriver.Car" line. Set nfs5.exe to run as administrator. This prevents the game being unable to find/create files when installed in the Program Files (x86) folder. Run the game using nfs5.exe (not Porsche.exe). Make sure to set your graphics settings in Options. All done! You're ready to play! Documentation

Sanity: Aiken's Artifact - FOV Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains a modified client.dll intended to fix the FOV in Sanity: AIken's Artifact (2000). The game's engine, LithTech 2.0, has Vert- scaling at wider resolutions than 4:3, and makes the game unplayable in many sections at aspect ratios wider than 16:9. This fix supports the following aspect ratios: 12:5, 16:9, 16:10, 64:27 (21:9), 32:9, 43:18, 48:9 and 256:135.
Instructions:
1. Extract client.dll to <path-to-game>/LITHTECH/, overwriting the original file (the original client.dll is included in case you want it back).

World War II Sniper: Call to Victory - Fixes
By AlphaYellow
This is a RAR file that contains modified files that iare intended to fix most of the cutscene FOVs (there were some cutscene cameras with FOV 90 that I wasn't able to edit yet without crashing the game), since Lithtech Jupiter has stretched cutscenes by default on wider aspect ratios than 4:3, due to them having a constant horizontal FOV. This fix supports only 16:10 and 16:9 for now.
Instructions:
1. Go the game's main folder and create a folder called "Game".
2. Install WinRez LT Studio from here.
3. Once it's installed, start the program and open game.rez from the game's main folder.
4. Once game.rez is loaded, select all folders in the box to the right, right click "Extract" and extract them to the "Game" folder created in step 1.
5. Once all folders and files are extracted successfully, extract the RAR file provided in this fix that corresponds to your aspect ratio to the main game folder, overwriting all original files.
6. Create a shortcut of Lithtech.exe located in the main game folder.
7. Right click the shortcut and go to "Properties".
8. In the "Target:" field, in front of the game's directory, write the following arguments: -windowtitle "World War II Sniper: Call to Victory" -rez Game -rez Engine.rez
9. This bypasses game.rez and makes the engine read the extracted files directly instead, so making modifications to the game is easier in the future if needed.
10. Start the game from the shortcut always from now on (game.rez isn't needed anymore, you can delete it or keep a backup if needed).

Nina: Agent Chronicles - FOV Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified lithtech.exe files that fix the FOV issue in Nina: Agent Chronicles (2002), as the game's engine, LithTech Talon, stretches the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3, due to it having a constant horizontal FOV, no matter the resolution chosen.
Supported aspect ratios: 5:4, 1.85:1, 2.39:1, 2.76:1, 12:3, 15:4, 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 21:9 (2560x1080), 21:9 (3440x1440), 21:9 (3840x1600), 32:9, 32:10, 45:9, 48:9 and 48:10.
Tools used: OllyDbg, Cheat Engine, HxD
Instructions:
1. Extract the lithtech.exe that corresponds to your aspect ratio to the main game folder, overwriting the original executable.
2. Set your resolution in <path-to-game>/autoexec.cfg.
3. Look for the lines "GameScreenHeight", "SCREENHEIGHT", "SCREENWIDTH" and "GameScreenWidth".
4. Once in-game, don't go to the video options or the custom resolution is lost.
Instructions for other aspect ratios:
1. So, the LithTech engine declares FOV values with radians as 32-bit floats. The hex location for horizontal FOV is in the address 000CAF91.
2. Open one of the modded lithtech.exe files in a hex editor like HxD.
3. Press Ctrl+G and go to the offset address in step 1.
4. Highlight the 4 pairs of values after where the cursor is positioned after doing the search for the address.
5. Use a degrees to radians converter like this one: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/degrees-to-radians.html
6. Enter your desired degrees (horizontal FOV).
7. Press "Convert".
8. Copy the radians result and go back to HxD.
9. Go to the "Data inspector" tab at the right side and paste the value in the "Single (float32)" row.
10. Press Enter and save the file. Your new horizontal FOV will be saved permanently.

Marine Heavy Gunner: Vietnam - Widescreen Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio in the 2004 action FPS game "Marine Heavy Gunner: Vietnam". It doesn't require changing the FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9. This fixes both the camera and weapon FOVs (cutscene FOV is also fixed), unlike the FOV fix through User.ini, which only fixes the gameplay camera FOV.
Instructions:
1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file.
2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it).
3. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to always be in 4:3, no matter the aspect ratio you choose from the fix).
5. You're good to go.
Issues:
- HUD and menus are stretched.

Marine Heavy Gunner: Vietnam - Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 Fix

This fix is intended to make the 2004 game "Marine Heavy Gunner: Vietnam" run on Windows versions above XP, as it only runs up to XP by default, even though the game itself has no DRM copy protection at all (Tested the vanilla game on an XP machine and runs perfectly without the CD).
Instructions:
1. Extract Core.dll to the "System" folder inside the game's main folder, replacing the original file.

Dr. Brain: Action Reaction - FOV Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified ENGINE.U files that are intended to fix the FOV in Dr. Brain Action Reaction (1999), since the engine that the game uses (Unreal Engine 1) is Vert-, that means the vertical FOV is reduced the wider the aspect ratio becomes. This is a permanent fix, so it's no longer needed to run the "fov" command every level reset/restart or when cameras change during levels, or having to bind the command to a key. This fixes the FOV for 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions.
Instructions:
- Just extract the file that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, overwriting the original file (the original file is included in this fix in case you need it again).

Marine Sharpshooter 4: Locked and Loaded - Widescreen Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio in the 2008 action FPS game "Marine Sharpshooter 4". It doesn't require changing the FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9. This fixes both the camera and weapon FOVs, unlike the FOV fix through User.ini, which only fixes the camera FOV.
Instructions:
1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file.
2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it).
3. Since this fix only works with the game's DX8 renderer instead of the default DX9 one (dgVoodoo2 can't hook into D3D9 in this game for some reason), you need to set the renderer manually in the game's config file. Go to MS4.ini and in the [Engine.Engine] section, change the line "RenderDevice=D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice" to "RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice"
4. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to always be in 4:3, no matter the aspect ratio you choose from the fix).

The Chickenator - Widescreen Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified chickenator.exe files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio for the 2003 FPS rail shooter "The Chickenator", from City Interactive. This fix adds support for the following aspect ratios: 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 48:9 and 64:9. I can't confirm if this fix also works for the Russian release from Russobit-M, but most probably does.
Instructions:
1. Extract the chickenator.exe that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the main game folder, replacing the original executable.
2. Go to the registry and navigate to this directory: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\City Interactive\Kurator3D
3. Change the values "Width" and "Height" to the desired resolution (make sure to insert the values in decimals instead of hexadecimals).
4. You're good to go.
Issues:
:-: HUD is correct ingame, however menus are stretched and text elements are misaligned on any aspect ratio wider than 4:3 (however still usable to some degree).

gui Half-Life, Blue Shift, & Opposing Force Menu Text Corrections (Half-Life 25th Anniversary Update) - English
By scottvordem
This fixes some inconsistencies across the three official Half-Life games to make the menus fit with the game more and bring back the WON styled text as close as possible with the Steam Version.
This does not add the missing animated logos, fix menu background scaling issues, or add/modify menu functions. This is simply text correction for the menus.
Color scheme for Blue Shift is not included in this download but can be downloaded from here instead.
Installation:
Note: The way this is installed ensures no updates or game file verification will delete/overwrite the custom files.
1. Download the file.
2. Extract the zip file to the main installation directory (where hl.exe is located).
3. In every game, go to the in-game options menu and under the "Content" tab, make sure "allow custom addon content" is checked. Click apply and the game will restart with the new text.
Changes for all 3 games:
Made main and pause menu text all capital, this is how it was in the WON versions.
Changed "Options" text to "Configuration" like the WON version.
Changes for Half-Life:
Replaced "Training Room" text in New Game menu with "Hazard Course"
Changes for Blue Shift:
Replaced "Training Room" text in New Game menu with "Hazard Course"
Replaced "Play Half-Life" button text in New Game menu with "Play Blue Shift", since that is the name of the game anyway.
Changes for Opposing Force:
Grey text on the side of the main menu options have been changed to their equivalent text from the WON version of the game, soldier!
Replaced "Training Room" text in New Game menu with "Boot Camp" Like the WON version.
Replaced "Play Half-Life" button text in New Game menu with "Play Opposing Force", since that is the name of the game anyway.
Changed "Are you sure you want to quit?" text to "You going AWOL on me, son?" From the WON version.
Please let me know of any typos I missed.

Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green - Widescreen Fix
By AlphaYellow
This RAR file contains modified Engine.dll files that fix the FOV and aspect ratio for the 2005 survival horror game "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green". It doesn't require changing the FOV or resolution ingame or through config files. Supports the following aspect ratios: 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 32:10, 48:9 and 48:10. This fixes both the camera and weapon FOVs, unlike the FOV workaround through User.ini, which only fixes the camera FOV. Even though the default camera FOV is 65, I recommend a lot for it to be increased to 90 for a less of a tunnel vision experience (don't increase it beyond 90, as the the fix automatically converts 90 to whatever aspect ratio you choose, only the camera FOV is increased but at least the viewmodel isn't so close to the camera with this fix).
Instructions:
1. Extract the Engine.dll that corresponds to your aspect ratio and put it inside the "System" folder, replacing the original file.
2. You need dgVoodoo2 as well (I won't explain here how to set it up, I'll assume you already know it).
3. Inside dgVoodoo2, set the "Scaling mode" in the General tab to "Stretched" and set your native resolution in the "DirectX" tab (The in-game resolution has to be in 4:3, don't change it in LOTD.ini).
4. You're good to go.
Issues:
- HUD and menus are stretched.
- Intro movies don't play in the proper position of the screen.

Secret Agent Barbie - Widescreen Fix
By AlphaYellow
Comes with a RAR file, which includes a modified SecretAgent.exe and a SBAResolutionChanger.exe to change the resolution. This patch also fixes the FOV, giving a wider view on wider aspect ratios (HOR+). Also includes the C++ source code if anyone is interested on improving it.
Instructions:
1. Extract both exe files to the root game folder, replacing the original executable.
2. Run SBAResolutionChanger.exe, and insert your desired resolution width and height.
3. Put the dgVoodoo2 files in the game folder and set your desired resolution in the "DirectX" tab.
4. Run the game and it should run at your chosen resolution.
- Issues:
:-: It's not recommended to go wider than 32:9, since the game behaves in a weird way if doing so.
:-: Main menu stays at a 640x480 area, and doesn't scale to fit the resolution chosen.
:-: HUD doesn't scale, so use a display wrapper like dgVoodoo2 to upscale it.
:-: Letterboxed black bars during cutscenes no longer appear at any resolutions other than 640x480 (Might or might not be an issue, depends on your preferences).

Grand Prix Legends - 60 FPS patch 2.0
By Blackbird
Patch that allows Grand Prix Legends to run at 60 FPS instead of the default 36 FPS.
KNOWN ISSUES
Online replays have extra jumpiness. This is a general GPL issue, and 60 fps simply makes the problem more obvious. There are frequent 'double-clicks' especially in the setup screen. Moving 3do objects (flags etc..) move too fast on some tracks. Mixing 36 fps and 60 fps online does not work correctly. This version of the patch implements fps checking, so hosting with 60fpsv2 should avoid the problem. But those servers which are not patched, or are running the 60fpsv1 patch, can be joined with wrong fps. Drivers should find out what fps is used on the server, and use the correct version when joining. a patched GPLRA loads 60fps replays and generates correct race reports, but does not analyze the laps correctly. Please do not report on this, since it is a known issue. Consider using the patched GPLRA for race reports only. Retrieved from:
