Terminator: Resistance FOV changer & 16:9 letterbox remover

7 Screenshots

About This File

The FOV tool attempts to automatically correct the field of view of the cutscenes at 21:9 and wider and allows for real-time FOV adjustment affecting all scenes at any resolution.

As any trainer based on CE components, it may trigger some anti-virus software.

  1. Use software like 7zip or PeaZip to unpack the archive. The password is pcgw
  2. Launch the game first, followed by the tool.
  3. Press the hotkeys as instructed.

The letterbox remover tool is a patcher, which previously required Steamless as a prerequisite on Steam.

Tested on the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. The game copy was generously funded by AlRayes of Ultrawide Benchmarks.

The mod previously removed pillarboxing from the gameplay and menu.

Released

Updated the letterbox remover to hopefully not break the sniper scopes. No changes to the FOV changer.

Hi Rose,
Would you be able to assist me with any instructions via DM for the same issue?
Thanks!

PCGW has changed its stance on Steamless since that message, so if you get an error after modifying the exe, you probably need to verify the exe, then use Steamless to unpack it and patch the unpacked file, then use it as the original.

Verifying the .exe did it and it's working now!
Thank you again!

Unfortunately this causes sniper crosshairs to become invisible. Played through like half the game  blindly guessing when sniping until I figured that out.

Would not recommend using this if you use scoped weapons at all.

Try the new version. It should not touch the scopes, but I'm not sure if it fully removes the letterboxing from everything. I tested it against the cutscenes, not the dialogue, though I don't remember if that was affected by the letterboxing.
