Installation:

  • Unpack the archive
  • Copy all files to the game folder \Kao the Kangaroo\Kao\Binaries\Win64\

Just tested this on an epic games install and it works.
From the library, go to ... > Manage > Installation > Folder Icon to open the install folder and copy the contents to \Epic Games\KaotheKangarooZHs8t\KaoDRMFree\Binaries\Win64

It doesn't seem to work for me, I'm quite sure I followed the instructions.
