This file was taken from a fresh install of the Quake shareware release.
The shareware come with the first episode "Dimension of the Doomed".
Note that this file is meant to be used with a source port of the game. How to install the file will vary depending on the source port.

Installed version 2.8.3. Running on Linux Fedora 42 with Heroic Game Launcher and Proton-Latest-GE. For the fix to load properly at 1920x1080, 2 environment variables are to be added to SH3 config in Heroic: WINEDLLOVERRIDES=d3d8=native,builtin PROTON_NO_FSHACK=1 and settings for Silent_Hill_3_PC_Fix.ini include: [GameWindow] ScreenWidth = 1920 ScreenHeight = 1080 Windowed = 0 Borderless = 0 [Rendering] RenderingWidth = 1920 RenderingHeight = 1080 Works perfectly on Ryzen 5 5600 -

Hi, I just beat SH3 for the second time ever. I had no issues while playing the game using release 2.8.3. All of the audio, visual, and stability fixes worked like a dream! Thanks, Steam006. -

Hey Steam006, thanks for the patch. I had a question, is there any possibility of implementing a fix to unstretch 2D elements when playing at 16:9, like you did for SH3? Many thanks.
