This file contains some general improvements for The movies and its expansion pack The movies: Stunts and effects. Unpack the archive into the game directory.

To prevent the serious shrinkig of the HUD set the game resolution lower than your native resolution. Dgvodoo was set to draw the 3D elements at x2 resolution. ex.: in case of 1080p set the game to 900p or 720p.

The included FOV changer made by Alphayellow.

  • Unlock the resolution selector
  • Field of view correction (scaling factor in scripts/MovieFixer.ini)
  • Skip the company logos
  • Automatically patch the Large Address Aware flag on the executable
  • Correct the aspect ratio for most of the 2D elements
  • Correct clicking zones for the buttons to cover the new dimensions
  • Upscaled background video for the main menu
  • Included wider versions of the loading screens
