About This File

The game features FMVs and rendered cutscenes that get pillarboxed at 21:9 and wider resolutions.
This patcher removes the black bars from the rendered cutscenes and has no effect on the FMVs as there is no way to hack a pre-recorded video to add more content.

Simply unpack the archive and patch the main game exe.

Tested on the latest Steam version at 2560x1080 and briefly at 5760x1080 in both DX modes.

I attempted to download this patch but Windows Defender flagged it as a trojan. I downloaded it on my phone with the intent to transfer the extracted exe via Google Drive in case it was just the zip file it was flagging, but Google Drive also flagged the exe as a trojan.

I'm very curious to know what exactly the file does, my paranoia is that the version hosted on PCGW has been infected without your knowledge.

The CRC hash of the exe from this page matches what I have on my PC (3839306c for the current v1.2). A file does not need to do anything even remotely malicious or suspicious to be false flagged, as noted below the download button here or on the WSGF sub. At the end of the day, anyone is welcome to analyze this or any other of my files in a sandbox to any extent and present their report to the public if there's anything problematic.
In fact, some already do, but the outcome isn't anything on malware but repackaged versions of my work. 😆

Hello, I bought "Borderless Gaming" at STEAM and it works, to play on 3 monitors (after disabling NV surround in to 3 separate monitors) user have to start Borderless Gaming and then start game, then choose at Borderless Gaming the game and move it right with arrows and after moving to right window choose game and click option "Set windows size" and draw with mouse (select) all the space from left top corner of 1st monitor to down right corner of 3rd monitor. What goes for cut scenes all of the cut scenes happening in the game are on all 3 monitors but there are some retrospective cut scenes prerendered in 1080p 30FPS but it doesn't bother me, most important that the one during the actual game are on 3 screens and it kicks ass. GRATE JOB!

Subject: Call of Duty Advanced Warfare ff, bik, pak files extractor & building tool

Hi Rose,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m currently working on translating the single-player campaign content in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare into Arabic. I know your primary expertise is developing FOV tweaks for older games, but I have a request outside of that scope and wanted to get your input.

So far, I’ve discovered the following:
 1. I was able to extract *.ff files using ZoneTool (ZT), but I haven’t been able to rebuild them.
 2. ZT supports extracting *.ff files only—it does not support *.bik or *.pak formats.
 3. ZT allows rebuilding the extracted *.ff files, but it doesn’t support including any audio content.
 4. The ZT source code is available here.

My question is: Could you make a simple modification to ZT’s source code so that it can rebuild all extracted *.ff files, including audio, or at least handle every FF asset without exception? It would also be ideal if it could support extracting and rebuilding *.bik and *.pak files.

Any assistance or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated, as it will enable me to repackage the entire game bundle after translation.

If you need any additional details about the game files or their structure, just let me know.

Best regards,
