    Need For Speed II - Second Edition Patch (unfinished) - November 09, 2019
    Need For Speed II is my first ever played racing game on the PC. I remember this
    time, that I and my school friend came to his home after school and we played
    whole evening this game in Split screen mode. A few years later I found out
    that Second Edition game has 3D acceleration support for Voodoo Graphics cards,
    and I could play it via Glide emulation with pure performance. So I decided
    that once I'll made direct OpenGL or DirectX support for this game.
    So here is my old patch, which enables game to support external 3rash API
    renderers from newer EA games, like NFS III,IV or V. It is not completely
    finished yet, but despite that this patch is most playable than any others over
    the net.

    This patch was created in the same manner as other great Need For Speed III -
    Modern Patch from belarusian guy VEG. Patch includes several patched EA Thrash
    (3rash) renderers for DirectX and Glide (nGlide). Also it includes my own
    created OpenGL 1.1/3.0 renderer.
    This patch also includes configuration utility to customize patch options,
    like selecting graphic renderer, switching windowed mode on/off and etc.
    Some features and fixes lited below. And also some of the problems which are
    still need to fix.
    Features & Fixes:

      * patch is based on last official EA patch
      * CD check has been removed
      * removed all registry linkage, so game is fully portable now
      * added option to select several external 3rash API renderers (DirectX,
        Glide and OpenGL)
      * added option to select game Language (English, Spanish, German, French,
        Italian and Swedish)
      * sound problem (cracking) has been fixed. New eacsnd.dll has been created
        from scratch
      * several compability problems have been fixed (MapMemoryB000,
        GlobalMemoryStatusLie, GetDiskFreeSpace and etc.)
      * game renders in 32 bpp mode
      * game supports numerious screen resolutions than before (640x480)
      * game supports widescreen resolutions (16:9, 16:10, etc)
      * implemented proper widescreen support with correct FOV
      * game uses higher texture detail for cars than before
      * added option to select texture type between SE (Glide) and Classic. Due to
        Glide limitation, texture resolution was reduced to max 256x256 and 16 bpp.
        Classic / Software textures have higher resolution, but with limited 256
        colors.
      * added option to on/off filtering for all textures
      * added option to on/off object shading. Disabled looks more like in
        Classic / Software mode
      * added option to on/off fog
      * added option do disable intro movies
    Problems & Issues:

      * sometimes objects (cars, world) dissapear at the left and right side of
          the screen.
      * car dashboards are still not implemented for 3D acceleration
      * wheel fog sprites have incorrect size due to higher screen resolution

      * launch config.exe to make sure all options are correct for you, and press
      "Save" button

    An unofficial patch for Turok: DinosaurHunter, written by badsectoracula. This fix is mentioned in the PCGamingWiki article for the game. It's currently only hosted on MediaFire, which is not an ideal choice for longevity.

    In case you still have the original PC CD release from 1997 and want to play it in a modern computer and you don't feel like buying the new release (yet, anyway), i wrote a small patch that allows you to use any resolution and with a small widescreen fix that makes the FOV match the resolution (the widescreen fix is optional).
    You can find information in pcgamingwiki, but here is what it says:
    Custom resolution and widescreen support patch. Before applying the patch, make a backup of the Turok.exe and Video_D3D.dll files in case the modifications go wrong.
    For Vista and later: make sure you have Turok installed in a directory that can be modified by regular programs (e.g. C:\Games\Turok) Download turokfix.exe and run it. Replace 800 and 600 in the fields with the resolution you want to use (note that for a high resolution, such as 2560x1440, you may need to use dgVoodoo 2). Press the "Patch Video_D3D.dll to apply custom resolution" button Using the dialog box that will appear, locate the Video_D3D.dll file in your Turok installation In the game's launcher, use the Video menu to select Performance Settings and check the 800x600 checkbox (note that if the checkbox is not available and window doesn't mention Direct3D the game probably loaded another renderer - remove the DLL files mentioned in the last step below) For widescreen support: Press the "Patch Turok.exe to apply widescreen fix" button and locate Turok.exe like above If you have nGlide or other GPU emulators installed: make sure you remove the Video_3DFx.dll, Video_PowerVR.dll and Video_RagePro.dll files from your Turok installation, otherwise the game might try to use another renderer instead of the Direct3D one. That is all. The original game also works perfectly under Wine (for Linux and should also work in OS X) and should work under Windows too (for 8 and later you may need to use dgVoodoo 2 though - if you have 2560x1440, you certainly will need to use it because for some reason Microsoft's D3D7 and lower doesn't support horizontal resolutions above 2056).

  6. The Da Vinci Code Widescreen Fix

    I made this RAR file, which includes files for 1280x720, 1366x768, 1920x1080, 3840x2160, 7680x4320, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080 resolutions.
    Instructions:
    - Extract the files that correspond to the resolution you want to use, to the root game folder, replacing any original files.
    - Since the fix uses windowed mode to work, use a software like Borderless Gaming to make it borderless fullscreen.

  9. Assassin's Creed Valhalla DirectX 12_ 0 feature level requirement bypass PROPER

    Firstly I want to clear this out that this isn't some kind of fix that just simply uses DXCPL to emulate DX11 or running the game on "Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor" which doesn't uses your dedicated GPU and gives 1 FPS, these fixes available on youtube just help in bypassing the error but the FPS are awful and unplayable.
    This fix is an actual unofficial patch that actually uses up your dedicated GPU (which doesn't supports DX12_1), and you can get proper FPS  depending on the GPU. It will actually use up your GPU instead of running it through microsoft basic display adaptor. Although since this error comes in outdated GPUs which don't support DX 12_1 therefore the performance might not be the best , but you can manage to squeeze out 25-30 FPS. And if your GPU is like Nvidia TITAN or GTX 980M and has the horsepower to run it but can't because of that error then it will be properly playable.
    Working of the files -
    there are three DLL files 1) D3D12_original.dll   2) D3D12.dll   3) D3D12core.dll
    the D3D12.dll file is modified to forward all function calls to d3d12_original.dll except the failing function (D3D12CreateDevice) which calls the d3d12_original.dll with the same parameters but D3D_Feature_Level set to 11_0 instead of 12_0.
    This leads to successfuly getting into games with Directx 12_0 GPU requirements even if you have a Directx11_0 GPU.
    Tested with game version 1.1.2, should work with all other versions, no crashes / visual glitches observed.

  10. Arthur and the Invisibles/Minimoys Widescreen Fix

    Comes with a RAR file, which includes GameModule.elb files for 5:4, 12:5, 15:9, 16:9, 16:10, 25:16, 43:18 and 64:27 aspect ratios, and ArthurResolutionEdit.exe to change the resolution. This patch also fixes the FOV, giving a wider view on wider aspect ratios (HOR+).
    Instructions:
    - Extract GameModule.elb of the folder that corresponds to your desired aspect ratio, and also ArthurResolutionEdit.exe, both to the root game folder and overwrite the original GameModule.elb.
    - Run ArthurResolutionEdit.exe, select the language you use (Polish or English), and write your desired resolution width and height.
    - Run the game and it should run at your chosen resolution and aspect ratio.

  17. Patrxgt's Unofficial Modern Patch for Colin McRae Rally (1998)

    Patrxgt's Unofficial Modern Patch is an unofficial patch for Colin McRae Rally (1998), which fixes incompatibilities with modern operating systems (without breaking menus, like "kFYatek's Unofficial Windows 7 Patch" does) and skips CD check for the sake of convenience. This patch is compatible only with 1.5 European and American versions of the game and modifies game's executable.
    Installation:
    Install the 1.5 patch for version from your region. Download "Patrxgt's Unofficial Modern Patch.7z" file and extract it wherever you want. Put "Rally.exe" file from your game's installation folder into the "put_rally.exe_here" folder. Run "patch_<region of your game>.bat" and wait until "Rally.exe_patched" shows up in the folder. Rename "Rally.exe_patched" to "Rally.exe" and replace it's counterpart in the game's installation folder. Recommendations: Set Motion smoothness to "OFF" in the games menu for smooth framerate and lock it with third-party tool (like "RivaTunner Statistic Server" or "NVIDIA Control Panel") to 60 FPS for the sake of stability.

    Comes with a RAR file, which includes a modified Config.exe, a Runtime.exe and a Hugo Bukkazoom! - Widescreen Fixer v1.1.exe, intended to fix the resolution and field of view in the arcade racing game Hugo: Bukkazoom (2003).

    Instructions:
    1. Extract both exe files to the root game folder, replacing the original executables (extract the 32-bit or 64-bit fixer exe depending if your system is 32 or 64-bits).
    2. Run Hugo Bukkazoom! - Widescreen Fixer v1.1.exe, and insert your desired resolution width and height to automatically fix the field of view.
    3. Close the fixer, open Config.exe, select any resolution in the menu, and click OK (this applies the new resolution in-game, don't worry those resolutions are overrided by the new one due to modifications I did to Config.exe).
    4. You're good to go.
    - Issues:
    :-: HUD and menus are stretched.
    :-: Do not alt+tab while the game is open, since if the game regains focus again, the viewport will be messed up.
