This is the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch v1.6. The latest patch release is v1.7.

 

There are two versions of the patch available: Retail and Direct2Drive (D2D).

 

Note that the game requires this patch before upgrading to v1.7.

What's New in Version 1.6

Released

  • New maps Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, and Killhouse.
  • Hardcore and oldschool server browser filters.
  • Fix for a Denial of Service attack.
  • Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5.
