About This File

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the resolution, aspect ratio, HUD and field of view in the third-person adventure game "Arthur and the Invisibles" (2006), since the game only supports a limited amount of 4:3 resolutions.

Credits also go to: Automaniak

Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/ArthurAndTheInvisiblesWidescreenFix

Instructions:

1. Extract all files to the game folder.

2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

3. Set the desired resolution and FOV factor in ArthurAndTheInvisiblesWidescreenFix.ini.

What's New in Version 1.2   See changelog

Released

- Reimplemented the fix as an ASI patch to be way easier to do updates in the future, and made the FOV configurable.

Hi AlphaYellow,

the aspect ratio fix works fine until you have to use a moving rope, then the camera spins like crazy. So the game can't be finished using the widescreen fix. You can test this behaviour from Menu -> chapters -> Satan waterfall and after a few seconds you have to use some ropes.

Thank you

It's fixed now, try again and see if it happens again in that part.

I am trying to install and I did by running through a bat file. Although, it is running to slow, really slow. I am on a up to date computer running windows 11. Any idea how to fix this like stop motion?

You need to have a controller plugged in before starting the game, that'll fix it. Don't know why though but it does 😅
