This fix corrects low frame rate issues in Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos when running in fullscreen mode on Windows 8 and later.

 

Extract anywhere and run install.bat to apply the fix.

 

This fix works by applying the following compatibility fixes to this game's loader.exe:

  • DXPrimaryEmulation -DisableMaxWindowedMode (fixes frame rate isssues)
