This is the Demo the was released by Ubisoft.
This seems to represent an early state of development as the game engine is older than the main release and has an early version of the main menu theme by Jack Wall as well as a track that does not exist in the main game. The menu is also animated which was cut from main game.
The demo features what the gameplay is like, one puzzle, and some story elements.
Issues Fixed
-Grey screen after starting a new game.
The demo has compatibility issues with modern GPUs, it has to be tricked into using on older one.
dgVoodoo 2 can be used.
Download dgVoodoo2 from the official site. Follow the instructions for DirectX 9 installation. In this case, extract d3d9.dll, dgVoodoo.conf, and dgVoodoocpl.exe into the <pathtogame>\system directory run dgVoodoocpl.exe and on the DirectX tab, change Videocard to GeForce4 ti 4800 and Vram to the max highest setting, this is the most important. Any other settings can be adjusted by the user. Launch the demo.

First of all, big thanks to killer-m since this is the only working mod for this game but I also wanted to share some bugs I found and the quick fixes to them. in Saving the Druid, Viking Era, this mod causes texture dissapearing. There is no need to fix this since you still can break those invisible rocks around the road. in The Moon Valley, Viking Era, this mod preventing the last gear popped out from a pirate to spawn in a proper place, when you defeat the pirate you might see the g -
BTW found a fix , just use CheatEngine latest version , choose the pes 2004 exe file , enable "Enable speedHack" and lower it as much as you want -

I tried this, but it keeps the game square, and stretches the FOV. It did seem to briefly help with my crashing issue (see linked post), but due to the FOV I couldn't actually see the boss very well, and then it crashed about 30-or-so seconds in. Is this plugin supposed to be used in tandem with DXWnd or similar? -
The only thing I found to work was to own the actual Ultimate Edition, and not the base game + season pass. Install sizes are different between the two. So for me, the only thing that worked was removing the base game from my account and re-purchasing Ultimate Edition. It was ~8 USD during a recent sale and likely around the same during the upcoming winter sale. -
have you figure out a solution for this so far ?
