The tool allows to change field of view and remove black bars from the game. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Run the game, followed by the tool Press the shown keys to allow for modding at any time Press the black bars removal key - ideally when one first appears Adjust FOV with the shown keys All tools based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest EGS Vulkan and DX12 game versions at 2560x1080, and briefly at 1920x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.
  2. Version 3.4

    11,619 downloads

The tool removes black bars from the in-game cutscenes, cinematic cameras, shops and a number of other areas at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Since version 2.0 it also removes pillarboxing from the photo mode. Since version 3.0, it allows for custom FOV adjustment. Launch the game first, then the tool. The password for the archive is pcgw As expected from a trainer based on CE components, this tool does get falsely flagged by some anti-virus software as a trojan, while the rest correctly mark it as a "hacktool". Use the tool provided here at own risk and ideally avoid playing RDR Online without completely disabling the fix - especially the FOV hack. Tested at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Additionally confirmed as working by two volunteers from WSGF. You can buy me a coffee here.
  3. Version 2.1

    8,362 downloads

The trainers for Xbox/Microsoft and Epic game versions, and patchers for EGS and future versions remove pillarboxing (black bars) from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens and offer the option to adjust FOV. Use software like PeaZip or 7zip to unpack the archives. The password is pcgw Making changes to Engine.ini to increase FOV through Y-axis calculation is no longer recommended, as it gets reset by finishers and possibly other in-game events. Make sure the config is in its default state to avoid unexpected issues. The mod does not address the cropping of the viewmodel and stretching of FMVs. In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX=, ResolutionSizeY=, DesiredScreenWidth=, DesiredScreenHeight= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Getting into the settings in the game will undo the changes, so make sure to have configured the game to preference prior to editing the config. You can buy me a coffee here.

Option 1: Use the included aspect ratio patchers to target \BloodstainedRotN\Binaries\Win64\BloodstainedRotN-Win64-Shipping.exe within the game folder. For the Steam version, follow the steps of this guide. Option 2 (works with Game Pass): Download the included trainer and unpack it with software like PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game, then the tool. Press the shown keys to remove the black bars and adjust FOV as desired. To avoid upscaling, edit %LOCALAPPDATA%\BloodstainedRotN\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini and at the end add ResolutionSizeX=YOUR_WIDTH ResolutionSizeY=YOUR_HEIGHT and set FullscreenMode=0 Changing game settings may reset the above. Tested the latest GOG and Xbox Game Pass versions at 2560x1080, 3840x1080, 5760x1080 and 3240x2160. You can buy me a coffee here.
  5. Version 2.0

Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip (password is pcgw), then use the trainer to modify the game FOV in real time. Make sure to run the game first to let the program detect it. Any tool based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the EGS version kindly provided by cheswick of /r/ultrawidemasterrace. You can buy me a coffee here.
  6. Version 2.0

    110 downloads

Use the included patcher to target BeyondTwoSouls.exe. Alternatively, download and unpack the included trainer with software like PeaZip (password is pcgw) and apply the fix after launching the game. This will turn the gameplay and menu FOV from vert- (less vertical) to hor+ (more horizontal). The few pre-rendered cutscenes and the tutorial sprites will remain vert-, while the loading screens and bonus artwork will be stretched. Tested at 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.
  7. Version 2.0.1

    1,639 downloads

The mod previously removed pillarboxing from the gameplay and menu, letterboxing from the cutscenes and adjusted FOV at 21:9 and wider resolutions. As of update 1.028a, the game only needs FOV adjustment to compensate for the reduced vertical FOV at the cutscenes at 21:9 and wider. The tool allows for real-time FOV adjustment affecting both the cutscenes and the gameplay. As any trainer based on CE components, it may trigger some anti-virus software. Use software like 7zip or PeaZip to unpack the archive. The password is pcgw Launch the game first, followed by the tool. Enable custom FOV adjustment and tweak FOV to preference. Tested the latest Steam version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. The game copy was generously funded by AlRayes of Ultrawide Benchmarks. You can buy me a coffee here.

  10. Version 1.0

    85 downloads

The tool removes black bars from most areas at wide resolutions and allows to adjust FOV in real time. Compared to the Shenmue Dojo solution, it does not affect the journal and does not result in a severe FOV increase at 32:9 and wider. Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip - the password is pcgw Launch the game and make sure the window mode is set to Borderless (or set FullscreenMode=0 and ResolutionSize in GameUserSettings for fullscreen) Launch the tool Press the hotkeys as desired The pre-rendered videos, menu screens and HUD will not scale to the screen width. All trainers based on CE components may trigger some anti-virus software. Tested the latest Epic version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080. Huge thanks to Johnnius_Maximus and Ultrawide Benchmarks for generously funding the mod!

  21. Version 1.4.0

Unpack the applicable archive and use the tool to patch the exe in \MoonMan\Binaries\Win64\ within the main folder. This will adjust FOV to match the vertical of 16:9. The tool also aims to remove all pillarboxing except from pre-rendered cutscenes but this may come at the cost of reduced FOV in the starting cutscene. Some further cutscenes are confirmed as having more horizontal FOV but there is no way to guarantee every cutscene will display correctly without playing through the game. Tested briefly with the latest GOG version at 2560x1080 and 5760x1080. You can buy me a coffee here.

The game limits FOV between 70° and 80°. This tool lets you set the FOV anywhere between 1° and 160°. To use the tool, make sure you've run the game at least once, then close it. Run the tool, and choose which player profile to update the FOV for. Then enter the desired FOV and press enter. I recommend either 100 or 110. If all goes well, press any key to close the tool, then launch the game. Enjoy. If you go into the settings, the FOV slider will be out of bounds. You can safely adjust any other setting without affecting the FOV. If you touch the FOV slider, you'll revert the FOV changed by the tool. To fix, close the game and re-run the tool.
