About This File

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the third-person action game "The Mummy" (2000), as the game's engine, SR Engine, stretches the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3.

Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/TheMummyFOVFix

Instructions:

1. Extract all files to the game folder.

2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV and FOV factor in TheMummyFOVFix.ini.

Too bad the FOV becomes narrower with this fix.

Yep, because I only adjusted the aspect ratio value, so the FOV is cropped from 4:3, maybe will release an update to address the FOV as well.

The game looks wonderful thanks to your mod. It's brilliant for such an old game. One thing I want to ask, is it possible to extract models from this game? I see the main characters body clips into the belt part and if it could be extracted as fbx those vertex can be corrected so that they don't overlap and the model will look properly without clipping. I can already do player textures to match the ps1 version colors.
