  1. When the game starts to load it just crashes to the desktop without an error. But when I launch Ubisoft Connect offline it's perfectly fine. Why is this? Months ago on my previous OS I could access it no problem. Ubisofts fault or did I get banned or something?
  2. Today I bought Far Cry 4 for Uplay, via humblebundle.com. So far it's been nothing but a nightmare. When I start up the game, I get loads of black screens that I can only get passed by alt-tatbing out and back in. Once I get into the game, cutscenes also suffer from black screen, and I have to alt-tab again every time I want to progress even the smallest bit. As soon as I get control of the character, in the mansion, I can explore the first couple of levels, but I'm stuck unless I alt-tab again. Then the game triggers the audio cues and the objective update. Next cutscene. Again, once I get co
  3. PC Reports are a series of quick first impressions regarding the technical aspects of a PC game. This report was written by PCGamingWiki contributor Dillon and edited by Andytizer. Valuable assistance was provided by RaTcHeT302 and LDK and the PCGamingWiki community. For an up to date account of Watch Dogs fixes and improvements, please visit its respective PCGamingWiki article. Watch_Dogs is the latest city romp from Ubisoft Montreal, a fresh IP from a familiar friend (or foe, for the cynical). It uses an entirely new, in-house engine made specifically for Watch Dogs named Disrupt. It has

  5. Players looking forward to experiencing Watch Dogs on PC on launch day will be disappointed to find that it's currently impossible to login to the game at all. Uplay is required to launch the game, and those currently attempting to connect will be faced with the above "Login failed" screen as Uplay authentication servers are being hammered by the usual launch day problems. It is still possible to download the game through non-Uplay services such as Steam or Origin, but all versions require Uplay to connect in order to function. As usual, the widely leaked pirated version suffers from no
  6. It is still possible to download the game through non-Uplay services such as Steam or Origin, but all versions require Uplay to connect in order to function. As usual, the widely leaked pirated version suffers from none of these issues and can be played offline right now. Here's the response from the official Watch Dogs Twitter account: As usual, check out our Watch Dogs article for up-to-date bugs and fixes, which we'll be sure to investigate further as soon as we can login to the damn thing. Edit 10pm 27/05/14: Uplay servers appear to be up and working, can now login and pl
