Version 1.3
3,919 downloads
Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the aspect ratio and field of view in the stealth first-person game "Project IGI 1: I'm Going In" (2000), as the game's engine crops the view at wider resolutons than 4:3 (Vert-). This fix supports the American, European 1.0 and Re-release, Italian, Chinese and Japanese versions. Credits also go to: AuToMaNiAk005 Source code available here: https://github.com/alphayellow1/AlphaYellowWidescreenFixes/blob/main/source/fixes/ProjectIGI1FOVFix Instructions: 1. Extract all files to the game folder. 2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder. 3. Set the desired resolution to fix the FOV, and set a camera and weapon FOV amount in ProjectIGI1FOVFix.ini.- 10 comments

Hey everyone, So, first off the Graphics options in the game itself crash the game to desktop when selected, not sure if I need to be there because I did manage to get dgVooDoo working with IGI 1 and run it at high resolution with correct HUD scaling. Sadly, the Widescreen 16x9 fixed exe file by AuToMaNiAk005 makes the game ask for the CD, even though I have inserted the original disc in the optical drive or mounted an ISO image from it. And since it's a custom made exe, it can't be patched with a no-CD crack as the "filesize is incorrect". So I can play with the original exe and dgVoodoo resolutions, but not in wide screen since it stretches the visuals. I tried it on two different PC's, but I'm on Windows 11 for both of them, so I'm not sure if maybe that has anything to do with it? If anyone has any ideas or a solution that would be great! I'd love to play the original IGI in widescreen with correct FOV before "Origins" releases. Greetings, MetzMan
