While the latest Bioshock 2 patch made things worse, every version of Bioshock 2 presents issues with audio balance. The previous fix helped some sounds but these still remained super loud: damage noise, Shotgun, and drill punch. I looked into and modified the "Fix Quiet Guns and Unbalanced Audio - Restoring the Retail Audio Mix" fix file and came up with something I feel helps with the issues. This fix would not have been possible without this fix/thread here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=322637977 For this article: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/BioShock_2

This exe fixes a game breaking bug in the Steam version, also makes it so all cut-scenes play correctly, this file was taken from a 2001 disk version that does not have these problems. 7. We came to the conclusion that the problem lucasj981 was having is that he was running without a dedicated GPU, which is required for this Patch. I'm replying so that anyone else with the same problem knows.

This is an edited version of "Thief I + II Sound effects enhancement pack Version 1.5". It's great, though i found some sounds to be too loud when using EAX. How to use these: Thief I and Gold = copy SND folder to USERMODS. Thief II = Go to MODS and delete T2snd, copy SND to MODS folder. Newdark and TFix/T2fix is required. NOTE: If the normal sound pack works for you, don't use this, this is an alternative for those like me who think some sounds are to harsh, not meant to replace the original. Enables EAX in Thief I&II and System Shock 2. With the NewDark patch there's no need to use "OpenAL", It's proprietary since v1.1 and the last release was in 2009. These files uses OpenAL Soft, a modern, maintained fork of OpenAL. NewDark versions of Thief, Thief II and System Shock 2 are required for this to work. Advantage over using OpenAl is: No need to install, simply copy and paste inte main game folder. Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTF). Reverb strenght can be set using alsoft.ini Tips: Uninstall previous OpenAL software. Disable any custom "3D-stereo" solutions such as Dolby Virtual Surround and any other globally applied crystalizers or equalisers. Also, you won't need any old emulation software like Alchemy. Uses: OpenAL Soft 1.21.1 https://github.com/kcat/openal-soft Source: https://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=8371.0
  10. Sadly I'm not the developer, but hopefully it does get added when/if a new version gets made.

General Improvement Mod is a mod/unofficial patch for Dungeon Keeper 2 version 1.7 (GOG and EA ORIGIN included) The user can choose between the official patch 1.51 DKII.exe or DKII-dx.exe to get the benefits along with additions and fixes. The file "GIMChangelog.txt" has a list of what's been changed in the rebalanced version. There are two versions: The Rebalanced Version has the better AI for enemy Keepers from DK2 version 1.51 with features from GOG patch 1.7 version, as well as balance changes/creature modifications. The Vanilla version does not have balance changes/creature modifications, to keep things closer to original, but does include Quality of life fixes, including a fix for the issue where many creatures do not enter the player's dungeon. For example Dark Angels not appearing has now been fixed. Mod made by: Wyrmcast over at Keeperklan

Dungeon Keeper 2 V1.7 (Including GOG and EA ORIGIN) has an issue where on many levels some creatures do not enter from the portal. For example Dark Angels can't be attracted during the campaign. These files fix that. Simply download and extract this file into your main Dungeon Keeper 2 folder, and accept when asked to overwrite files. Source: Keeperklan
  13. No, the controller support in Croc is basic and does not have the analog support that the PS1 version does. I'd recommend either using the D-Pad or getting used to using a keyboard (my preferred way). Sorry I can't be of more help.
