Windows scaling and mouse won't move

I’ve got a windows 10 tablet with high resolution, problem is that some old games (titan quest, supreme commander) won’t display cursor in full screen when scaling is turned on. So I have to switch scaling off or play in window mode. That’s not good. Any general solution?

Disable scaling for the affected game from the Compatibility tab:

  • Right click the shortcut or executable (for a Steam version go to the game's installation folder to do this)
  • Choose Properties
  • Go to the Compatibility tab
  • Check Disable display scaling on high DPI settings.
  • Click OK to apply the change

EDIT: some games use a separate launcher executable to start the game, so for those cases you'll need to apply this change to the game's actual executable rather than the launcher.
