Blackbird 54 Share Posted April 29, 2015 There are some JPG images with awful white rectangle around them (sometimes even with artifacts) and I'd like to make them transparent, but removing the JPG and adding PNG again seems like too much trouble. Any easy way? Moving pages maybe?

Blackbird 54 Author Share Posted April 29, 2015 Any example? DualShock 3 page for instance. I don't remember the others, because I ignored them, but they were some of the company logos. Example what I did here on Maxis page. The transparent one is even smaller as result so it's win-win http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/File:Maxis_-_logo.png
Suicide machine 53 Share Posted April 29, 2015 I don't think there is an easy way of doing it. For a long time, I've been trying to push PNGs wherever possible (assuming I can get a better cover art), but I still don't think there is an easy way of replacing it for pages. Blackbird 54 Author Share Posted April 29, 2015 You need to upload a png file and mark the old jpg for deletion (with the {{Delete}} template). Yeah I knew about this, but wanted to make sure I'm not doing it the complicated way for no reason. Guess I'll stick to it for now :)
