I’ve added support for it. How is usage of Rewired tested, by the way? Is it the presence of a specific DLL file or some other way?

The presence of Rewired_DirectInput.dll or Rewired_WindowsGamingInput.dll.

note: Rewired plugin is also a Unity plugin, so you're far more likely to find it on a Unity project.
