Halo: Reach to release December 3, on Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC

Halo: Reach on PC finally has a release date on PC, after being teased for months. On December 3, the first part of Halo: Master Chief Collection will be released on:

• Steam
• Xbox Game Pass for PC
• Microsoft Store

Halo: Reach can be purchased separately (it is listed on Steam as a DLC). Or it can be purchased a part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection as a bundle with future game release dates to be announced for Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4.

It wil be interested to see how the Steam version will interact with Microsoft services, as it will require a Xbox Live account to play the game.

It's going to be interesting to see how much space the end results end up being, and how download platforms will handle it -- e.g. will it just download all owned games directly, or default to e.g. download only the "main package" without any specific game or similar?
