AlexKVideos1 18 Posted October 17, 2019 (edited) VS With PC gaming, you can get weird circumstances were a PC game is remastered, or re-released on a new console, and this new version made for consoles ends up back on PC. Now you can't decide which version you should get, the old release or the newer release. This is what exactly happened with the FlatOut series.FlatOut 2 was released on consoles, and PC on June 30, 2006. Bugbear ended up porting FlatOut 2 to Xbox 360, renaming it to FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, releasing on June 22, 2007, and the PC port was released August 1, 2008. Now PC gamers are left with two options, but which one do you prefer? Do you prefer the original version (FlatOut 2) or the newer version (FlatOut Ultimate Carnage), or do you not have a preference? SojerManLan 1 Posted October 17, 2019 I like both of them, but Ultimately I chose Ultimate Carnage. It has better optimization (excluding GFWL issues), has more opponents than in 2 and (biggest point for me) it has Xbox achievements. I miss FO2 music though. 1 TheSteelStallion reacted to this
TheSteelStallion 3 Posted October 23, 2019 I'd have to go with Ultimate Carnage due to all of the reasons Sojer mentioned. I also agree with that point on the music. If I remember correctly, someone did end up getting the original FO2 music to work in UC. 1 SojerManLan reacted to this
