Pedrof 0 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Hello ! I have just created an account to edit Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix's page. I wrote "true" for Haptic Feedback, but it doesn't seem to appear on the page. Makes me wonder if Haptic Feedback can appear while Controller Support is false ? I do confirm SOF2 rumbles my vibration-enabled peripherals (a gamepad in my case, but I think it was designed to rumble mouses with force feedback). Blackbird 54 Share Posted December 15, 2017 So the game doesn't have controller support, but it still vibrates? Sounds odd to me. Reply (Quote)
Pedrof 0 Author Share Posted December 16, 2017 Yet it does... There is an option in the game. See for yourself on the capture below. It's made for Force Feedback mouses. And if I'm not mistaken, there are more games from Raven Software in this case. Reply (Quote)
Effcol 1 Share Posted January 23, 2018 This would also be useful for VR support. A lot of VR games have haptic feedback on the their VR controllers, but don't support support gamepads. Because the haptic feedback setting is tied to gamepad, it gets hidden even though the VR controllers do support haptic feedback. Garrett 214 Share Posted April 6, 2018 I have updated the input settings template to always show haptic feedback when it is set to true or hackable. Pedrof 1 Reply (Quote)
