Wouldn't it be fine as long as there's no "cease or desist" or whatever that's called? I mean it could always just be removed later on if there were any issues, having platform specific DLC is always kinda lame.

@RaTcHeT302: I think the issue more than anything else is that they just don't want to get sued. But I totally agree, platform-specific DLC is awful. That's why I decided to share this.

I don't believe there is anything in the user agreement that prohibits moving these files around.

It's just that we can't support the game once that's been done.

I took the liberty to update the file.
I removed the executable (which is quite *unorthodox* to provide) and Movies folder (files are already present in Steam GOTY version)
Together with some 7zip magic it's 100MB smaller now.

 

You may also notice instructions now are way more streamlined in game page.
