About This File

Standalone patcher to set custom FOV for every camera in Mafia III:

  1. Run .exe or python script.
  2. Set location of tables.sds file (e.g. SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mafia III\sds_retail\tables\tables.sds)
  3. Adjust individual FOV values - on foot, aiming, driving, boats, etc. (The sample screenshots have FOV 90.)
  4. Click "Backup+Apply". The patcher creates backup of original tables.sds file.
  5. Close the patcher and launch the game. 

The patcher was created using Claude Code.

Cool mod, but why changing actual game files when it might just be easier to hook the instructions in the exe or in a DLL the game uses that read the values from those files?
