Wrong file in 21_9 version.

the 3440x1440 .exe is for the wrong game 😭

21_9 File is for Freedom Cry not Rogue.

Please, put the correct file game in 21_9 file

Replace the game executable with either of the included versions. Here are the differences.

It's still for freedom cry on the Ultrawide package 21:9

Okay so to get AC Rogue running at 32:9 5120x1440 just download the "AC Rogue Ultrawide.7z" from https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1804-assassins-creed-rogue-black-bars-fix/, there are two different versions (1 and 2) depending on your preferred FOV in game. Then open the chosen .exe with a hex editor, search for the first (topmost) hex value of 8E E3 18 40 and replace it with 39 8E 63 40. If the FOV looks wrong in game just try the other version instead.
 

I used this page (https://www.wsgf.org/article/common-hex-values) for reference. All the hud elements and the map look right with no stretching. Only the main menu and shop menus are stretched across the screen but are definitely useable. Happy gaming!

Simply don't understand how this works. Once I downloaded the file, there wasn't any ".exe" file, nor could I find the ac rogue's files within my pc. Is there any step-by-step tutorial on how to properly install this mod?

 

I downloaded the 21.9 file for my new ultrawide.. 

But the zip file it gave me, wont open, says it requires a password to open!  wtf?
