Potentially questionable donation link in an article

Recommended Posts

Hi, made an account to report this as soon as I noticed it on the wiki, apologies if it isn't the correct way to report articles since I am not an editor:

I was reading the Star Wars Force Unleashed article and looked for how to enable Windowed mode, and the article has a link that says "Use Unknownproject's solution".
This links to a Github website with a giant donation prompt in the center. This would have been fine if "Unknownproject's solution" was a patch or mod maintained by them, but the only relevant thing on this page is an instruction to use the config file line "<s id="VideoWindowed">1</s>". The config line works, but this is something that has no reason to be on an external website, let alone one with a giant donation prompt, it is simply a built-in engine config option.

The link was edited into the page on 2020 here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Star_Wars:_The_Force_Unleashed&diff=prev&oldid=990746
While you could argue that the page may have had a patch that was removed due to the config line replacing it, I looked at archive.org and found a 2020 snapshot that shows it still didn't have a patch download even back then, with a Bitcoin link to boot. There's probably a proper way to check if a patch ever existed since it is Github.

The user has some more links on other pages in case those should be looked at as well, for example here.

Sorry if it sounds like a big deal, better safe than sorry.
