HelderRocket 0 Share Posted August 9, 2023 Some time ago the open beta of Google Play PC Games was launched, and that made me wonder if in the future, both the games in the available catalog, as well as the store itself, will be listed in this Wiki. Or if on the contrary, only games and platforms that work completely natively on the operating system will be supported (because technically, Google Play PC Games is an emulator). Aemony 146 Share Posted August 9, 2023 No, though we might cover the application itself. Otherwise "PC" would be encompassing: - iPad/iPhone/Android - Arcade machines - Consoles - and basically every other device that PCs can emulate. I also came to think that, although it is an emulator, it is a support that has official support to the developer of the platform it emulates, differentiating it from the rest of the emulators. Also that as such it is only an emulator to run the games, but it is not in itself an Android device. Reply (Quote)
Aemony 146 Share Posted August 13, 2023 The fact that it's an "official" emulator does not actually matter from our perspective. Reply (Quote)

As of right now: it only applies to PC Developers who applied to this form, we might start to see more Native PC Ports of games onto Google Play Store in the near future.
