Theclaw135 4 Share Posted January 24, 2022 What are some good info sources for games from special promotions and events? It can be almost anything, like being packed with a Happy Meal. Take Taco Bell's Frogger for a curious example. It reuses stock art, but is not Ancient Shadow. And the package gives no further description or screenshots. https://vgcollect.com/item/147616 Reply (Quote)
Garrett 214 Share Posted January 24, 2022 You are probably not going to find much information about these releases outside of detailed fan sites about that game or series. I don't think there would be any sort of comprehensive source for this sort of thing. MobyGames has listings for some of these, but like anything this is not complete (e.g. there is a listing for Taco Bell promotional games, but your Frogger example is missing). In most cases, promotional releases of games didn't have any differences in game content. Reply (Quote)
Theclaw135 4 Author Share Posted January 24, 2022 Right, I'm mostly looking for unique titles. I've turned up a PC version of the Xbox 360 game DanceMasters (presumably simplified to not use Kinect). PES 2011 isn't much interest to me. Edit: This page suggests 3D Ultra Mini Golf Adventures 2 is a demo with locked out content from the full game.
