No Man’s Sky’s latest update, Beyond, launches on August 14th

The controversial No Man’s Sky, developed by Hello Games, has consistently redefined updates since its tumultuous launch in 2016, adding many of the promised features that were not present at launch.

The latest update, Beyond, will be released on August 14th, consisting of two major features: expanding the online functionality, and adding full VR support to the game.

While VR was not one of the game’s initially touted features, it is certainly a welcome addition. Hello Games has seemingly overcome the rocky start to No Man’s Sky. Do you feel that it's too late to consider the game to be redeemed?
