Starcraft: Cartooned, a DLC re-skin for StarCraft: Remastered, has launched on July 9th.

Created by Jonathan Burton, the mind behind the popular YouTube channel Carbot Animations, this DLC rehauls all of StarCraft: Remastered’s visual effects, giving it the distinct animated style of Carbot.

Burton’s channel rose to fame in part due to their numerous animated parodies of Blizzard’s titles.

While Blizzard has always been in touch with their community, this is the first time an official modication has been produced in collaboration with a fan.

StarCraft: Cartooned retails for $9.99 USD on the Blizzard Web Store. Who knows, maybe other Blizzard titles will end up receiving official “fan-made” DLC in the future.
