Andytizer 269 Share Posted June 14, 2019 We are removing the word 'Settings' from the Video/Input/etc headers so clarify the templates. This will remove the word 'settings' from <h2> tags on the page, which are a key SEO search term. @Garrett suggested we change the Site title to include this, e.g. Title: PCGamingWiki PCGW - bugs, fixes, crashes, mods, guides and improvements for every PC game To: PCGamingWiki PCGW - bugs, fixes, crashes, mods, settings and improvements for every PC game I believe in SEO terms only the first 20-30 or so characters are actually counted. We also have a tagline which is displayed under the <h1> tag of each page, it is currently: From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games On Wikipedia it is: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia We also include a 'PCGW' in the Title which looks a little awkward - we could potentially change this to put into the tagline. Aemony 142 Share Posted June 14, 2019 1. Don't removed PCGW from the title of the web pages as it does magic for SEO, and makes it so that "pcgw [game title]" guarantees PCGW is at the very top of the results returned. 2. The rest I don't really care about either way 🙂 Reply (Quote)
