Hello, dgVoodoo is now on 2.78, when will this be updated?

Thank you very much for the file. I know the post is old and probably no one will see the comment, but anyway, this was the version I needed to play Resident Evil 1 Classic Rebirth with Seamless HD Project, which was causing graphical glitches in the new 2024 versions of DgVoodoo2 when using antialiasing and anisotropic filters. I couldn’t find this version anywhere, as the official site has broken links for the old versions. I followed the tip I saw in the comments on D’Flayer’s YouTube channel when I saw him using ReShade with dgVoodoo in HD texture mode.

If the original uploader reads this. Do not update! Keep this version up for Proton users.

 

The current versions of dgvoodoo have a pretty bad crashing bug with Proton. The developer does not seem to be receptive to fixing it (not going to judge, I barely know how this stuff works myself). However all of the previously archived releases have been removed from the github, leaving only the source code.

 

As of now the only other place you can find downloads of compiled older releases are off the web archive. And *ahem* who knows how long that's gonna be around. It just so happens that this version is one of the most compatible with Proton pre-bug.
