About This File

Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the resolution and field of view in the hack-and-slash game "Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper" (2005), since the game only supports a limited amount of 4:3/5:4 resolutions. This fix supports the European and Japanese versions.

Instructions:

1. Extract all files to the game folder.

2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of dinput8.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

3. Set the desired FOV factor in DynastyWarriors4WidescreenFix.ini.

4. Choose the desired resolution from either the config executable (DW4Config.exe) or in the in-game video settings.

What's New in Version 1.3

Released

- Improved the fix's structure.

- Made the fix calculate AR and AR scale automatically from the in-game resolution.

- Unlocked the resolution list properly in both the configuration and main executables.

Thanks for this.
Just tested it out, and it seemed to work. Changed my resolution ingame and all seems fine.
Can´t change the FOV thou via the ini.
Everything over 1.0 (1.1, 1.2 ect.) in FOV just crashes the Game when loading into a map. Showing a the map in the "Preparations Menu" in the "Free Mode" works fine thou and i can see that the Map Overview is working right with a higher FOV. Just when starting and loading into the actual Map the Game crashes.

Sorry, I can't do anything about it, for me it always worked fine when loading into any map/mode.
