Comes with a RAR file, which includes an ASI plugin intended to fix the field of view in the scifi action-adventure game "Anne McCaffrey's Freedom: First Resistance" (2000), as the game crops the image at resolutions with an aspect ratio wider than 4:3 (Vert-).

Instructions:

1. Extract all files to the game folder.

2. Download ThirteenAG's Ultimate ASI Loader (32-bit version of winmm.dll), and also extract it to the game folder.

3. Set the desired FOV factor in AnneMcCaffreysFreedomFirstResistanceFOVFix.ini.

- Made the fix calculate FOV automatically from the in-game resolution.

Changed resolution to 1920*1080, replaced .exe, applied Fov Fixer - the result is on the screen. Seems it shows the quarter of screen. The same issue happens with 2560*1080

That's unfortunate. Maybe try setting "Override DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" setting in Freedom.exe's compatibility settings to "Application". If it still doesn't solve it, maybe try setting "ResolutionIndex=" line in Freedom.ini to "ResolutionIndex=-1" and start the game, maybe it picks up the new resolution during gameplay. Are you using dgVoodoo2 as well?
