I was curious what you used to edit the game's GRP file? I would like to make a version of this mod that keeps the health and magic bars on screen!

I used HxD and found bytes that looked like texture data. Unfortunately, it is a very blind process involving pure trial and error, and I could only delete textures, not replace them.

I decided to use DxWnd instead, which has a texture replacement feature.

Hello, does anyone know how to change FOV of Darken Skye? The Hex-editor method is not worked cause I can't find the correct Hex-value in Skye.exe; thus cant edit to 16:9 Fov.

Does anything show up if you search for just "00 00 B4 42" ?

Yes, a few of them.

Do you mind sending all the ones you've found? I suspect your .exe might be different.

Indeed, it appears your executable is different than mine.

Here are the correct hex modifications for your executable:

 

Search for "00 00 B4 42 A1 5C D0 54" and replace it with "1F 85 D4 42 A1 5C D0 54".

Search for "00 00 B4 42 89 2D FC AE" and replace it with "1F 85 D4 42 89 2D FC AE".

Search for "C7 05 14 D0 54 00 00 00 B4 42 5E DD" and replace it with "90 05 14 D0 54 00 00 00 B4 42 5E DD".

Anyways, the messages and some part of HUD is messed up and hard to click properly. Do you know how to fix them?

You could use the file I provided on the page we're currently on, but it only gets rid of the hud.

 

You could use DxWnd's texture replacement feature, though it is more difficult to use.
