Silent Hill 4 PC Fix by Steam006

Every time I use any custom resolution the game won't launch, and an error message will pop-up saying: "Failed to initialize DirectX"

Is there any way to force anti-aliasing to the game? I've tried through GOG config tool and AMD drivers but no luck...

How does the anisotropic texture filter option work? Just setting it to 1 is enough or does it require to be set to 2, 4, 8, 16?

Quick heads up: using crosire's d3d8to9 breaks FMV (Video) cutscene playback. When they're triggered, the sound of the video can be heard but it's a black screen until the FMV finishes or is skipped. 

By any chance, can you add some sort of ability to change the noise effect's resolution? It's almost impossible to see at high resolutions.

but still have black bord in cinematics
