Soopytwist 1 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Hi all. I'm new to the PC Gaming Wiki, though not new to PC gaming. I'm 37 and have been PC gaming since 1996. Not too long ago I bought Splinter Cell 1 and having sorted out the resolution etc I would like to either make the HUD elements smaller or move them further to the sides of the screen. It's quite in your face and very distracting, especially having just finsihed Blacklist. So, any way to moddify this? I've had a look though the files and though I've made mods for a number of games in the past I can't say I've tackled the Unreal engine much. Mirh 103 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Well, first if I were you, I would try to ask on the widescreen gaming forums if you could have a better time by trying to mod game resources (.bmp images, .ini files...) or by hacking game memory Anyway, unreal engine 2 has been good documented, so I think it won't be so hard to achieve what you are trying to do ;) Reply (Quote)
Soopytwist 1 Author Share Posted March 30, 2014 Well I tried but failed but then I found someone had made a mod that disables the HUD, which you can view by pressing a key. worked a treat! Reply (Quote)
