Policy on lists

I've been watching a recent proliferation of lists on PCGW, and it's entered some questionable territory.

I have my doubts of the relevance of articles such as "List of upcoming games on PC booter". Who still makes self-booting PC games that bypass any installed operating system?

Yeah, the user adding the lists seems to be conflating "original platform" with "modern re-release" as well as making lists for the sake of making lists. For example, the List of upcoming games on Windows 3.x, as of this writing, only lists Hodj 'n' Podj despite the upcoming version being released for Windows. Also, due to the lack of interest by modern retro devs in making native games for DOS, PC Booter, Mac OS, and Windows 3.x, having "upcoming" lists is frankly unnecessary.

The enforcement problem, which I'm currently discussing with staff, is that all the information in the lists comes from what PCGamingWiki itself provides. As such, the question "how is simply making lists hurting anyone or anything?" is one which must be answered before making policy.
