PoooopIE 0 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Frame rate capping is a very useful command that is also a common option in games, but is rarely easily accessible from the game menus. As a laptop gamer it's a particularly useful option in games because capping the frame rate to 30fps is a very effective way to save battery power. Another fairly common situation is for gamers who have problems with overheating GPU, or are bothered by very loud fans.
