Rainbow artifacts on HL (GoldSrc) D3D mode

Recommended Posts

For some reason when using D3D in GoldSrc games I get these weird rainbow pixels on the lightmaps (I think it's the lightmaps). It happens on every version that supports D3D, be it WON 1.0.x.x or 1.1.0.0, or any pre-SteamPipe build, with and without dgVoodoo2. No such issue when using OpenGL in the latest Steam version or any of those old versions. I wanna use D3D due to it's better performance, plus there's no tinkering needed for overbright effects.

Top is D3D, bottom is OGL.

AMD Ryzen 3200G with the Vega 8, Win10 x64.

P.S: Sorry for the screenshots not matching so well, taking OpenGL kept taking screenshots of the menu instead of the game.
