I don't have this game but I tried the demo and it displayed correctly (tested on XP 32-bit in VirtualBox, 7 64-bit and 8 64-bit natively), indicating that the issue could be something system-specific (possibly your video card drivers). Demo builds are sometimes different, however; do you see the same problem with the demo?

 

Have you tried using the game's 3DSetup tool to see if you can change the renderer to something else?

Oh, I accidentaly stumbled upon this thread, but anyway, I'm only posting this for anyone who will ever accidentaly find this thread again just in case.
